We enjoyed our stay. There is a nice beach club with pool where we spent all our evenings. You may see deers if you are lucky. Good communication with hosts

This property was just fine. The photos made it seem a bit more luxurious than it actually was. But when it all shook out the price we payed was comparable to the quality. Pros: - easy check in - nice owner Cons: - Amenities were far and closed during stay - Austin was further than expected - Lake was low - House had bare minimum necessities

Everything as advertised. One bed could use a new headboard.

A friend and I really enjoyed our 3 night stay at this place. Clean, comfortable, nice location in a larger lakeside resort, approx. 40 min from downtown Austin (depending on traffic). We would come again.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The Hollows neighborhood is GORGEOUS and when the pool gets fully updated (I understand they are working on resurfacing the pool so it wasn’t completely up to par) it will be even better! The pool area is maybe the prettiest I’ve seen with lots of tables and room to relax and just enjoy the outdoors. OUTSTANDING in October! We didn’t try the restaurant there, just note that they have limited hours during the off-season. We were able to walk to the lake from the pool area (a short drive away from the condo) and maybe you could fish there, but you can’t easily swim in the lake at that location, and there is no shade and not really a comfortable place to sit or just enjoy the lake, at the current lake levels anyway. To really play at the lake, find a park with lake access (we went to Arkansas Bend Park and paid the fee, Dink Pearson is free but is currently closed). We also rented a boat from Liquid Thrillz and pulled a tube. We almost had the lake to ourselves and the water temp in October was AH-MAZING! Highly recommend! We had a great experience with Bill, the property manager. After some confusion in the listing description, I brought up an issue to Bill and he jumped right on it, and immediately rectified the situation. Thank you, Bill. That really helped. And the sweet welcome basket and materials were much appreciated. The condo was clean, the AC worked great (too well?? Brrrr! Hahahaha!), and the shower in the guest bathroom was AMAZING. My one small issue that can’t be helped is that you can hear the footsteps from the condo above so if you are a light sleeper, this could be a challenge. We only heard them the last morning, so it wasn’t terrible. My advice is to just pack some earplugs, just in case. Also, the Hollows neighborhood is deep off of the main road, with many twists and turns, so it takes a few minutes to get in and out of there. Plan ahead because you can’t make a “quick trip” to the grocery store or convenience store. It’s not far (10 min?), it just seems to take longer because of the winding roads. All in all, great value, beautiful location, helpful property manager. Full disclosure: I’m going to recommend to the property manager to have tissue boxes in the condo, beach towels, and to update the linens/add a couple of blankets. Everything was fine, but it could be a little nicer with some new towels, sheets, and blankets.

While lots of things about this property were great there were two big issues we had. First, the development it is located in is half finished (or possibly less than half). This means the walking paths are not finished and a good number of them are actually future roads that have been made it seems primarily for the purpose of selling future home lots. It's unclear if this development is for full-time residence or vacation homes, which gives it a big of a weird vibe. Second, this property didn't have a very secure front door. The only lock was the keypad lock, which meant there was no real way to lock the front door from the inside. For families with young kids or toddlers this is a nightmare. My toddler kept trying to open the front door to go explore and we had no way to stop that from happening, day or night. Even without our little escape artist, the front door required a lot of force and attention to make sure it was fully closed and latched. (This feedback is not for the property but VRBO: I wish you had a system set up for marking or rating properties as being good for families with small children.)

Review Title It’s ok... Your Comments If you simply want a place to stay- this is it. Half of the beach club was closed (the hot tub not running at all). The pool was dirty && not cleaned on Monday as stated (we went on a Tuesday, after a failed hot tub trip on Sunday night). The resident complained as well- Shocked by the dirtiness of the pools. The villa lacks quality in accommodation. Cooling utensils have rust, couch needs replaced- super worn and dirty, dining chairs are stained. For the revenue this unit brings, I’d say it’s time to replace a few common space items. Also- it’s a first floor unit, and the unit above is rented- super loud. You can hear everything.

Lovely setting in the cedar trees, with lovely neighbors. If you are going to the Lake Travis area for a week or two, this would be an ideal spot. Great walking or running trails, but too far from clubhouse pool to be an easy walk, so our suggestion is to rent a golf cart if that is important to you.
