Cozy, Private, Gated, Hilton Head Location with Great Views. Steps to the beach

This property is wonderful. It's an older property so there is a little wear and tear but nothing that really mattered. We fell in love the moment we walked through the door. We are already planning to make reservations for next summer. Shoot, maybe a Winter holiday as well. The grounds are gorgeous. Beach access is great and it's so relaxing to have a private beach. The only real negative thing I can say is there is no elevator and that made it hard for some in my family to go to our third floor room. So, keep that in mind if handicap access is a must.

Very nice safe place - fairly quiet. Plenty of room and the hostess was very attentive to our needs - she responded immediately to any requests or questions.

Great price per night plus a cleaning fee. Suitable for our needs. Works on a budget…great for a family as separate bedrooms/bath. Conda is not five star accommodations. Great kitchen for cooking preparing foods for the beach or quick breakfast! If you are a beach bum and the weather gods are in your favor…go for it! It has a lovely screened porch too! Be fit too for the steps

The property was beautiful relaxing so quiet .I particularly loved the sun porch and the large pond with the water sprinkler so calming to just sit and listen.Walking distance to beach.shopping and restaurants nearby. Would stay again at this property My only complaint was the televisions not working the week we were there.

Enjoyed the beach access, the worst part was the bed was terrible, we had to go to Walmart to get a waffle cushion to try and salvage a good night sleep, it only helped a tiny bit. Also not realizing the unit was on the third floor was a mistake on my part, I didn’t read all the reviews until I had already booked it. The location was great. Please warn people about the stairs and the beds

The TV in one of the bedrooms didnt work when we get there and there was a hole in the cieling in the living room and they fixed it with a piece of wood. The beach behind the condo wasn't very good at all. We had to drive like 10 minutes down the road to find a good beach just to swim. The pools were okay but it was warm water. We ended up leaving a day early.

I can not stay in the condo because there was a problem with the bathroom margaret helped me to stay in another place I regret that my vacation was not what I expected the new accommodation was a clean place but very outdated the air conditioning sounded like the turbine of a plane the pool closes at 5

This property was perfect for our short stay in Hilton Head. It was right on the water in a quiet gated community. Perfect accommodation for our family. Owner was very responsive and I would highly recommend. If we are ever back in the area I would use this property.

Pros: off the beaten path, plenty of room for our family, nice place. Liked the sound side beach and loved the pier, especially at night. Enjoyed the grills and pools. Cons: Was not told about the hole in the wall by the refrigerator, Thought there was a hot tub, but under construction. Early check-out time. Overall, a good place. We would go again after hot-tub is built.

This was a great little get away. The beach is nice abd very easy to walk to. It was amazing to watch the low tide from 10am to 4pm expanding the beach by at least 2 fold. We enjoyed the Condo and the amenities. We will definitely keep this as a return vacation spot.

Nice location, close to the beach, pools, fintess room. The unit was well stocked with plates and everything a family needs for a trip..

The washing machines was rusted. The dishwasher was broken. Light switches were missing. There was nothing in the description that it was on the 3rd floor. I took to friends one with heart problems the other had a knee replacement . They are in their 80. Very disappointed. NOT A GOOD GETAWAY.

3rd floor in the building I complex. So very close to the beach It was very clean. It does need some upgrades, but for the price I won’t complain This is a natural beach. So if you want the huge waves in the ocean this is not the beach for that. We enjoyed the quiet and it was peaceful For us it was perfect

We had such a great stay at this place. The complex was great, and as described. This unit is in a building that is closest to the water, so only a short walk to the water. There's a nice pier so if you have trouble walking on sand, that's helpful. It was nice and quiet in the complex and in our building. There are 3 pools to choose from, 2 outdoor and 1 indoor (along with a hot tub and sauna). The unit suited our needs well. I cooked some while I was there. Bring your own spices if you plan to cook (I did). There's not even salt and pepper there. But I anticipated this - and was fine with this as it's better than having old spices. There are a good set of pots to cook with. This unit is on the third and top floor, which meant no loud walkers above us. The decor was cute and ocean themed. We loved the screened in porch overlooking the pond with a water feature, which sounded lovely and relaxing. The beds were comfortable. I gave it 4/5 stars because it's a bit dated. But we didn't mind. Margaret was responsive in her communication - which was great! All in all, I'd definitely recommend this place and would absolutely stay again. :).

A nice quiet place and good location in HHI. The King bed was very comfortable and so was the sofa. Compared to other rooms in the resort, this one was not very updated but had acceptable accommodations for a 3 night stay.

Lovely beach condo with only steps to the beach! Very clean and had everything we needed. Communication was great and very quick! We will be back!

Very close to the beach. Third floor climb was challenging for both of us who are elderly. It would have been appreciated if the kitchen had salt & pepper shakers and a spatula. Overall, the condominium was very clean, quiet, and readily assessable to the golf tournament and we certainly appreciated the good value!

Steps away from private beach. 5 minute drive to airport. Peace and quiet. Guests & staff very friendly. It was a perfect peaceful get away.

The host was amazing. She was very communicative. And also did a very nice favor for my family since I arrived a little early. I left one night early to take my marine home so my adult son stayed to do the check out and that was just as easy as the check in he said! Very beautiful home. Very beautiful location and extremely close to my happy place…the beach!!

Interesting beach

Condo had direct access to the beach. Very clean and neatly put together. Very quiet and peaceful area.Had a problem with getting the deadbolt unlocked. Owner answered phone right away and sent help within 20 minutes. Would stay again. Had a great time.

Sufficient for our needs.

My brother and I had a fantastic stay here and would definitely recommend it. The unit is on the top floor, so it’s extra quiet with no one above you. The screened porch overlooking a peaceful courtyard and fountain was one of our favorite spots to relax.Inside, everything was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and was perfect for cooking breakfast and reheating leftovers after a day at the beach.The location is hard to beat: just a quick 4–5 minute walk to a beautiful, natural stretch of Hilton Head beach. We saw sea birds, hermit crabs, ghost crabs, horseshoe crabs, even jumping fish, and the sunsets were stunning. For variety, Burkes Beach was only a 10-minute drive away.Quiet, convenient, and a great place to unwin. Highly recommend staying here.

Really enjoyed our stay. Being on the 3rd floor is the only draw back I find here. We have been staying here for several years, so it's nothing new and it is noted on the description, but each year it seems that I choose to take less and less to the room because I don't want to tote it. We will continue to stay here in the future. Mrs. Margaret is easy to communicate with and responds very quickly.

We really liked the location, very quiet and nice grounds. The condo was a little dated but well stocked for our needs and the 2BR/2BA was perfect for 2 couples. The 3rd floor was a little more challenging toting luggage with no elevator than we thought it would be and this would be a consideration to staying there again. The host was very nice and had great communication. Overall it was a great trip and a nice place to stay.

Bugs in living room ! Ice maker doesn’t work ! Ceiling inside bathroom peeling dropping into shower ! Plumbing a mess no water pressure ! Big plastic panel over plumbing ? Scratches and dents on walls in living room coffee maker did not work

Great stay if you want to be close to the beach and quiet. You do need to drive 15-20 min to get most places, but if you’re looking for a beach vacation it’s great.

The place was clean well maintained. My kids loved being able to walk to the beach or the pool.

Great condo close to a beautiful beach thriving with wildlife. The pools were great the security staff was friendly and helpful, the gym was decent (i prefer free weights to machine's, but the machine did what it was supposed to do) i would definitely stay there again, it was clean and comfy and felt like home.

We really like the location of this condo. It was in the building closest to the beach, so it was not a far walk. Unfortunately, the condo itself and the stairwell up to the third floor needs a lot of repairs. The front bathroom ceiling was chipping away in pretty large pieces, the outlet in the master bathroom didn’t work, and the bathtub of the master was very old and yellow. It looks like the cleaning service might just come in and do a simple clean, but it really needs scrubbing on the walls and cabinets. You could see a lot of dried spills. There were also no ceiling fans in the bedrooms, but there was a box fan that we were able to plug in for the master bedroom, but the other bedroom didn’t really have any airflow and got a little warm.

We always enjoy our stay at this quiet resort. The unit we had here was the perfect size for me and my two children. It is very close to the beach, which has tons of wildlife and creatures to explore the sunsets are beautiful. There’s even a bald eagle on the shore. There were plenty of towels, garbage bags, soap for the dishwasher and the washing machine. We all had a great time.

Pretty good

First time visiting Hilton Head. This location was really neat and interesting. Seeing all the wildlife there was amazing. Caught a few fish and just loved being out on the sand bar. My son enjoyed every bit of it. There was even a bald eagle that hung around while we fished. The condo was perfect for us. Everything we needed was right there.

The condo was clean and orderly. Plenty of supplies and well stocked as far as the kitchen and bathrooms and plenty of towels. WiFi and HVAC worked well. Owner was quick to reply to any questions we had. The rental is on the Port Royal Sound which doesn't have a lot of beach area so we drove over to Folly Beach (short drive) to enjoy the ocean.Place is a bit dated and there was one surprise as last minute we were informed of a 25 parking fee which covered the duration of our stay. I think that should be stated in the cost of the rental. It has been in place since the beginning of January per the post at the guard shack.

Property is right on Port Royal Sound. Beautiful trees and birds to watch while you enjoy your morning coffee. Quiet area to relax.

We just wish we had more time! This is a quiet beach that we have loved visiting for many years, and this condo gave us everything we needed - an easy walk down to the beach or to the indoor or outdoor pools. There is a hot tub and a sauna in the indoor pool building as well. The condo was cozy but our family (four adults and two children) was very comfortable. The screened-in patio overlooks the lagoon and was a gorgeous space to drink coffee and enjoy the peaceful surroundings!

We had a great time staying in this Condo. No issues with the tv at all. Kids loved their room and had just enough space for their toys and tablets. We loved going out on the beach and walking out on the water when the tide was out. This was our sixth visit to Hilton Head Island and one of our best visits yet. The manager helped us anytime we needed it.

The apartment was located in a great area close to the water, shops and restaurants. The apartment however could use some updating if they want to keep attracting guests. We were a family of 6 traveling and while the bedroom beds were comfortable the pull-out mattress on the couch was dingy and had some stains on it making it unappealing to sleep on so my eldest son just had to lay on the couch to sleep instead. The bathrooms could use some updating as well, the bathtubs did not leave us wanting to shower in them. Also finding the apartment number took us for a spin since the buildings aren’t labeled and we arrived during the night making it much less visible to see the apartment numbers on the doors and the renter did not communicate which bldg to go too. Perhaps they should consider including a map for future renters to make it easier to find. I was also told we’d have to pay for parking. It was 25 for the entire weekend stay- not much but that detail could’ve been included in the rental description so that potential renters are aware of prior to booking. Overall it suited most of our needs.

Great to walk the beach - only 1/2 block away. Indoor hot tub felt good when it was cool outside. Going up 30 steps not fun but good exercise!

We came for a short 2 day getaway. We actually left after 1 day due to the snow and ice coming in. Our visit was short, but we enjoyed our time there. This condo was clean and well appointed. There are a couple things that show its age, but nothing to detract from our visit. It is a 3rd floor unit with no elevator, so if you have mobility issues, you will want to take that into consideration. This is an end unit, so it is next to the stairway which is convenient.

Homey and relaxing. Wish there was more time for a longer stay.

It came up as close to Parris Island. Not at all, about an hour’s drive. Nice place though. Not handicapped accessible.

The condo has very comfortable furniture with a kitchen that is stocked with all of the essential plates, silverware, glasses and cooking utensils. The location is fabulous as the beach is not crowded and is much more interesting than most beaches on Hilton Head as it is on the sound and has lots of interesting estuaries within easy walking distance. Lots of sea birds including two bald eagles, as well as sea grasses, oyster beds, rocks and more..

This was a great place to stay. Had a little trouble figuring out the tv, but other than that was a fantastic place. Close to the beach, clean, safe area. Would definitely recommend this to others.

After a full summer of running we were looking forward to some downtime at the beach and this was perfect for what we were looking forward to!

This place has all the comforts of home. It's in a nice area of town. The gate keepers were friendly and helpful. The first day we arrived we had an issue with the TV and the host quickly resolved it. The only thing (like other reviewers mentioned) is the 2 flights of stairs you have to climb, but in all honesty, it's really not that bad. Just think of it as a short work out :D I would highly recommend!!

This was our second stay at the Spa at Port Royal. This was a different unit but the property overall is awesome. We found hermit crabs, horseshoe crabs and even a Bald Eagle on the beach during our stay. Absolutely great! If we had an area we recommend improving it would be the addition of ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Otherwise, a fantastic stay and experience.

Everything was good Margaret was really nice and responsive to anything. We just needed to spend a partial night in the bathroom because of tornado warnings because of hurricane Helene but nothing to do with the stay

Nice property great pools

We selected HHI as we wanted to visit both Savannah and Charleston. Savannah was a 60 minute drive but Charleston was 2.5 hours each way. Condo is part of a large development and to be honest could use some updating. Bed comfortable, kitchen had the basics and condo was clean. Two flights of stairs to reach it (no elevator so cases need to be carried!). Development had two exterior pools (which we didn’t use) and one interior one (which we did). The hot tub would only bubble for 20 seconds and then shut down. HHI is ideal for exploring on bikes, especially the western end. There are public beaches but you need a map to find them. Humidity was high but not much sun when we visited so didn’t spend a lot of time on the beach.Myriad golf courses on the island. Shops nearby too.
