Cozy oceanfront condo w. community pool + beach access.

Need elevator

First things first. The property is dated. Know that. That being said, the bed was comfortable, everything was super clean, and everything was as pictured and as described. The view and porch are perfect. Our family had a GREAT time. We watched cargo ships, nightly shrimp boats, and DOLPHINS!!!! The pool and grounds were well maintained. The bay was our preferred swimming spot over the crowded beaches. Walkable to Huc-A-Poos (a family fav) and all of the cute shops nearby. We come from a very busy tourist town and this was a fantastic quiet getaway that we would 100% book again.

Upon arrival we found that our rental had mold on every single wall of the bathroom with a very strong smell throughout. There were some areas that needed more attention as far cleaning. Damages throughout the unit and I made sure I documented everything and sent them to the property management company. They were not aware of any of this because they never inspect the rentals they just send in the cleaners and collect the money. I reached out to the management company regarding the mold, damages, condition of the unit but most importantly the condition of the only bed in the unit. Did not sleep a wink because of it. They came in and dropped off a new coffee maker because the one in the unit was broken and they treated the mold with bleach. When I explained that they really should give some type of refund they refused. The views are beautiful but outside of that this rental was an absolute mess. The management company should take accountability for something they attach their names to and make sure guests are able to have a positive experience not just collect payment.

Had a great stay

The space was smelly, cigarette smoke, etc...couch looked over used, ....other than that, clearer info to property would have been great. But the location/ beach exceed my imagination. Communication from host,property mgmt., could have been better, I was told they haven't been there and I should just get off the phone, focus and should find it. I eventually found itband a lady walking her dog further helped me. Then inside finding my space # was challenging coming from the elevator, a gentleman helped me. . It all obviously worked out, but clearer and concise information would definitely have been appreciated.

The beach was perfect. Clean and as pictured. But the listing shows their is a dishwasher. There is not one. In this day of germs an virus transfer I expected to see dishwasher. Please remove that from this listing. That would be only reason I would not stay again. Sofa comfortable and mattress was sufficient. View incredible. We have stayed on 2nd floor here before and this had much better visibility.

The beach view was exactly as described: unobstructed and beautiful. The condo itself is very basic and rather tired looking. I also recommend adding just a few accoutrements to the kitchen supplies: salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, tea, coffee filters or a keurig and pods, Kleenex. These are items found in most rentals and all hotels.

The unit had horrible odor and the furniture looked it was direct from Goodwill. Kitchen drawer fell out right onto my bare foot. 100 yard walk from the only elevator in the building to our unit. We requested a relocation but the staff refused and we check out two days early. We have years of experience with this sort of beach rental and this one is the absolute worst we ever encountered.

Cozy little condo, if a little outdated. VCR and a cable box connected to a 19” tv via screw-in coaxial cable? Queen size bed almost too big for bedroom, and the mattress so worn out you feel like a beached turtle trying to get up. Had to go back to management office to get key because they forget it was not keypad access. Lady at office was nice.

Beautiful views!! Saw over 200 dolphins through the week!

Location was amazing, right on the water with beautiful views, stunning sunsets and lots of dolphins and pelicans at play! It was interesting to watch the big container ships float by on their way to the port. Keep in mind this condo is on the river beach, not the ocean, where the water is calm with great fishing and swimming. The condo itself was kind of “bare bones.” It was small and had the basic amenities. We had to buy our own beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, etc. The furnishings are sparse and the interior could use some updating for sure. Overall, it was clean, but the floors were not…seemed like the tile hadn’t been mopped in a while, and there were burrs imbedded in the bedroom carpet that really hurt to step on. Outside, the pool was wonderful and well kept. There are a few shops and restaurants that are walkable. The south beach area (where most of the action is) was only a short drive away. Our check in process was a little frustrating since they gave us the wrong key, and I wish they would have told us how to work the thermostat or provided some info or recommendations about things to do around Tybee (our first time visiting). Overall we had a wonderful stay and I would definitely come back!

We enjoyed the beach area and proximity to the beach. The facilities were very quiet and great for families. The problem is this rental was not depicted accurately. Pictures used for advertising were very old. Vegetation on grounds were overgrown. I spoke with reality however they stated they were not responsible for grounds DNR was in control. Ok that I understand but the reality is responsible for accurately advertising the rental. I will post pictures. First impression I was upset, I ended up staying and enjoyed the location. Plenty of dolphins and birds to watch. Day 2 we had ants and the last night we had a roach. We still had a great vacation . I just hope the reality will step up and post accurate pictures. Please compare the photos I’ve posted to the pictures they are using too to advertise. Pay attention to the pine trees which will show their pictures to be years old.

Kitchen had ants every where in the kitchen and also had a cockroach — we had to buy spray and keep the garbage can on the deck

The property is depicted accurately in the pictures. Love the easy beach access and the dolphin watching is incredible. We love watching the shrimp boats and the cargo ships. The property managers take pride in keeping the area clean.

The place is cuter in person. We had a great time and would stay here again.

Overall a great stay! Affordable for beautiful views and relative quiet. Unit itself is older and a bit run-down, especially the lock on the front door. But if what you’re looking for is affordable beachfront with a view - this unit more than delivers!

We enjoyed our stay! It’s definitely on the smaller side, but perfect for a couple. We saw dolphins swimming daily and watched beautiful sunsets from the patio. It didn’t have little things that I assumed would be there, like coffee filters and salt and pepper, but no complaints. Communication was great and everyone was friendly! Beautiful pool area as well! Would definitely stay again!

The property was quiet and cozy. The view was amazing and check in was very easy! We would stay here again!
