Cozy family and pet friendly home in North Conway Village

A great base from which to explore the white mountains and surrounding area. Easy walk to downtown and restaurants and shopping. Daniel the host was very easy to work with and accommodating. Would definitely come back again.

We were pleasantly surprised at the walkability from this place. Minutes to the main street where you can eat and shop to your hearts content. We also took a walk east to the Cranmore resort and found a fun walk in the woods to a little brook that our 4 year old loved to play in (we got lucky with 80's in Oct). Dan was easy to communicate with from booking to check-out. We stayed in the birdhouse and loved the adorable loft. It had everything we needed and was well set up for younger kids as well. I will recommend to anyone I know wanting to travel to New Hampshire.

We enjoyed our stay, however, there is no dishwasher and no ice maker..great location, very quiet..would definitely come again!

Our stay at the Bird house was perfect! Check in and check out was very easy. It was very clean and close to shopping and restaurants. We talked to the owner and he was super friendly. We both agreed that we would definitely stay again.

5 minute walk to the center of town. Super pet friendly.

Everything was perfect. The location was a short walk right to downtown in a wonderful neighborhood. Its also very close to Cranmore, and shopping at the outlets. The home had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen, and sitting on the deck at night was a huge bonus. My dog loved the spot and the kids loved the bunk bed set up. I would 100% stay a this property again.

We couldn’t have been happier with our choice to stay at this adorable home. It’s so close to downtown with food and shopping, coffee and breakfast! The place was probably one of the cleaner VRBO homes we have stayed in and the owner was responsive for any of the questions we had before/during. We plan on returning next year to experience more that New Hampshire has to offer and would 10/10 book this place again.

Great for a weekend getaway with family! The house was cozy, quiet, clean and comfortable. Good communication from the host to remind about bringing our own bedding. You absolutely can’t beat the location, so close to the Main Street, lots of coffee and food options in walking distance.

A family of three, excluding our very active 2.5-year-old son, spent Columbus Day weekend at this rental and addressed some common concerns mentioned by others. It’s important to start by noting that this is a cozy cabin or cottage in North Conway, not a high-end penthouse in Manhattan, so setting the right expectations is key. Pros: • The communication from the host was excellent and responsive. • The location was perfect—an easy walk to downtown, and the parking was off-road and safe. • While the property is dated, it’s very safe and incredibly quiet, making it a relaxing spot. • Out of over 20 years of renting vacation homes, this is one of the cleanest they’ve ever stayed in, which they really appreciated. Cons: • The sofa in common area is definitely showing its age and needs an upgrade. After a long day of activities and chasing our toddler, it was tough to relax on. • The stairwell, which is clearly mentioned in the listing, is a bit concerning. It’s not the host’s fault, but the steep, somewhat cluttered stairs made us uneasy, especially with our 2.5-year-old. Despite these minor issues, we would stay here again, though maybe in a different unit. We loved our time overall—safe, quiet, clean, and the price was spot-on for the area. The rental was fully equipped with everything they needed, from kitchen utensils to basic supplies. See you next time!

The cabin is quite rustic but it has good WiFi . Not a good fit for people that find it difficult to manage steep stairs.

The property was clean and quiet, stocked with basic necessities. The instructions and communication prior to arrival were complete and clear. Great location, short walk to restaurants and shops.

The Bird House was perfect for our Family of 5. It was very clean and quaint. Dan was very accommodating and was it was very easy to communicate with him. We were minutes from downtown,Cranmore Mountain Resort, the shopping outlets, and many other places as well. We literally didnt have to travel more than 15 minutes for anything. The next time we are in Conway we hope to be able to return to this property

We arrived at the property and this was the first realization that this is a multi unit type of property and our unit was located on the 2nd floor. The stairs to go up were very precarious, steep and unstable, missing a handrail. If you have any balance or mobility issues, stay away. tThe house was cozy, but was very dated. This specific unit had a bird theme, which I liked, except that everything was coated in dust. The kitchen had the basics, but I wouldn’t touch most of it, it was all stuff that looked like it had been left behind for years. The drawers handles were sticky and the pots and pans looked as if they been well worn. We did no cooking and only brought meals back. I will say the refrigerator was spacious and clean. For beds, the teen girls were happy in their room and had lots of shelf space to spread out. The upstairs bedroom was basic, but the mattress wasn’t comfortable. And again, if you are challenged in any way, getting upstairs was treacherous. The stairs were extremely narrow and steep. On the plus side, there was a/c in the bedrooms and a fan in the living room. There were plenty of towels provided in the bathroom. And, the location was great. I just wish the space were better kept. I won’t be returning, sadly.

Loved being able to walk to every thing and having the cranmore adventure park down the street.
