Great place to rent with a great location.

We had a great time in Salem. The apartment was in walking distance of everything we wanted to visit. The apartment was beautiful.very clean and had everything you could possibly need.I would definitely stay here next time we visit Salem. Thanks again for make our stay so wonderful.

Exactly as pictured. Honestly even a little bit better. Especially when compared to the price of other listings in the area. 5min walk to the heart of Salem!

Room was clean and nicely equipped.Charley was fast to respond to any questions and so helpful. Even though condo was on the third floor with stair access, we were able to maneuver easily. I broke my foot one week before our trip and I had no trouble with the stairs. This was a great location to access Salem. We had no problem accessing on street parking but this might be different in October.

This condo was perfect for our weekend stay! It was very clean when we arrived, check-in was easy, and the host, Charley, has detailed instructions for everything! He was very responsive and helpful, though we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The location is a perfect walking distance (maybe 5 min) from the main part of Salem, and parking is available on the side streets, which wasn’t a problem at all. We had a great time in Salem and I couldn’t be more thankful we chose this Vrbo! Thank you Charley!

Charley is a wonderful communicator set us up for success on our trip. The home is very well maintained, incredibly clean, linen smells amazing, and stocked with all your town traveling needs. We truly were steps from the water and steps from the commons. Cannot recommend enough.

Great location in the heart of Old Salem. Steps from the waterfront and Commons Park. The dwelling was clean and well-stocked. Everything was in working order. Our family enjoyed our brief but eventful stay.

We absolutely loved our stay in Salem, MA. The location couldn’t have been better—everything in town was within walking distance, and it was so easy to explore all the charming streets, shops, and historic sites. We even took a few day trips to nearby states, which was a breeze thanks to how conveniently Salem is located. Parking was always easy to find, and the local food scene was fantastic—we enjoyed every meal. Between the comfort of the home and the perfect location, it truly made our trip unforgettable.

The location was an easy walk to downtown and the property is just as it seems in the photos. A perfect size for a family of four with lots of hang out space.

We had a great stay here. The condo was cool (it was over 100 when we stayed) and clean, within walking distance of downtown Salem. Perfect for exploring the area! Great vibe and atmosphere.

Stayed with my 2 adult children and explored Salem and the surrounding area. The home had everything we needed, and had just the right amount of witchy decorations! We’d definitely stay again!

Charley's condo in Salem was absolutely charming! The space was cozy yet comfortable, perfect for our getaway. The views were spectacular - exactly as promised. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Charley was a wonderful host, responsive and thoughtful. Very cute apartment and building. The host was easy to communicate with and the apartment was clean and well stocked with essentials. The witch museum and commons are right up the block & across the street is a walking path that our dogs loved.

We had a lovely stay in Salem. It was perfect for the pets, plenty of nearby places to walk the dog and a backyard. It was convenient to many of the places we came to Salem to see. Owner was very communicative and helpful. Would stay here again.

This modern 2 bedroom unit is in a residential neighborhood in a historical house. A walking trail along the water is right across the street. Shops and restaurants are less than one mile away. The apartment is located on the third floor so you must walk up narrow stairs. The kitchen was well stocked including a Keurig. The beds were very comfortable and although we could hear large trucks on the road in front of the house it did not affect our sleep. The host was very nice and responded to questions very quickly.

The property itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated, blending New England charm with modern comforts. From the cozy, comfortable beds to the fully stocked kitchen, the hosts thought of every little detail to make our stay perfect. We loved the Halloween-themed decor and tasteful nods to Salem’s spooky heritage, making it feel like we were truly part of the town’s unique vibe. Our host was phenomenal, providing local recommendations and even checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed peaceful mornings on the porch and unwinding in the evening with a glass of wine after a day exploring haunted sites and scenic waterfronts. If you’re planning a trip to Salem, this property is an absolute gem. We can’t wait to come back and experience more of Salem’s magical allure from this wonderful home away from home. After a previous visit to Salem from Boston, my partner and I decided to return and elope, this time wanting to stay in Salem. Charlie’s place was absolutely perfect - central location, all the decor, the amenities - everything was spot on. It was walking distance to everything you’d need in Salem yet enough space from the high street to explore the local area, including a short walk to Salem willows. Coffee time bake shop just up the road was also great for breakfast. Charlie was really helpful and responsive and there were so many nice touches throughout the apartment. We’d 100% stay again- infact we’d live there in a heartbeat!

This was the most comfortable and well appointed vacation rental I've ever stayed in. It was truly clean, which I have seldom found to be the case with pet-friendly locations. The host provided excellent communication right from the start. Check in/out was easy. The beds were comfortable. There were sensible amenities like umbrellas, flashlights, and fully stocked kitchen staples. Adorable seasonal decorations. The location is great for a walking tour of Salem. The whole place gave me joy! Note however: while I understood this was a loft apartment and expected stairs, I'm not familiar with the style of these buildings so I didn't realize how narrow and steep this stairway would be. It was very difficult for my mom, and thankfully I'm pretty strong so I was able to carry our luggage, but it wasn't easy. That being said, *I* would definitely stay here again, but not with someone with mobility issues.

The host Charley was great, loved the guide, very responsive. A super cute in great location, near the water and walking distance to all the Salem museums and shops. Loved the kitchen, well stocked with condiments & staples. The bedrooms were perfect and so was the seasonal decor. It was our first time in Salem and Charley's guidebook had restaurants and tours etc which made it easy to decide on things to do. We had a lovely stay! Thanks so much. We would definitely recommend this place to our family & friends & anyone looking for a cute, clean place and good location. Ziggy & Sons donuts was on the corner nearby and we had donuts and coffee there on our two mornings there. Thanks Charley we had a lovely stay!

The rental is in a prime location, offering convenient access to numerous attractions, which truly enhances the stay. The home itself is clean and comfortable, providing a welcoming atmosphere. However, the stairs are quite steep and narrow, posing a challenge for anyone with hip or knee issues, as I experienced. While the host is friendly and very responsive, it's worth noting that they monitor the property via a contactless Ring camera, which may feel a bit intrusive to some. We stayed with our pets, but I wouldn’t recommend this place for those with small dogs or young children with strollers, as navigating the stairs could be difficult for them. Overall, it's a pleasant stay, but with some caveats for those with mobility concerns.

We had lovely time at the rental and enjoyed all the amenities. It was a short walk to Essex st and restaurants and a beautiful park. We are so happy to have had such a good experience!
