Cozy Carolina Condo | 2 Private Balconies & Pool | Short Walk to Beach

Excellent location

The only thing was that I had to cut the emergency heat on to heat the room because the regular heat wouldn’t get but 66 degrees no matter how high I set it

Ceiling fan/headboard etc never dusted - stains on bedspread and mattress cover. Pet friendly, Kitchen had most items, we gave up on the coffee pot on the last day. Place is across from a rock wall blocking access to the beach. There is no easy or quick access to the beach, be prepared to drive to other accesses.

We wouldn’t stay here again. Just some notes for those considering this as a rental: -beach access across the street is closed but you can walk to the next access- despite reading it in the binder and a large sign when you get there, there is NO pool key. Ask them for the code when you book (was not in the binder)-no shower/tub conversion like stated in description: and shower door does not stay shut so put a towel on floor so it doesn’t flood - this rental is also through Vacasa - not a private renter. I didn’t realize this until after we bookedJust some things to keep in mind. We wouldn’t stay here again but it’s not a bad place if you need a place to stay.

Clean and well located. Easy access to the beach, even though the access across the street is closed. It was an easy, short walk to the old pier and Freeman Park beach area.

I will start by saying there’s no such thing as a bad day at the beach! There was definitely room for improvement with the accomodations, though. The floors were dirty upon arrival. There is only one shower in the house and the shower doors were clouded with soap scum. The shower doors also did not stay closed. They just rolled right back open when you shut them… not just a little, but all the way open. There was no way to keep the shower door closed, so water pooled up on the bathroom floor. When we pulled out the sleeper sofa, it brought up some dead bugs and dust with it. It was filthy under the couch and bed, and there was clearly pet hair down there. But my biggest complaint is with the listing itself. It boasts of a beach access directly across the street, which is why we chose the place (my mother is handicapped) It wasn’t until after we booked that we were informed the beach access is closed due to erosion. Upon further investigation, I found that it has been closed for quite some time. This really needs to be reflected in the listing itself. We ended up having to drive to the beach and pay for parking, which is fine, but the listing for the house is misleading in that regard. All in all, it’s a cute little house in a great location, but the listing should definitely be updated to reflect the closed beach access, and the cleaning crew needs to step it up a notch… or three!

Could see the ocean from the balcony! Very clean

Check in was easy for this small condo. There was ample parking during our stay, and a pretty easy one-flight walk up to a locked door leading to the first patio and then inside. The interior seems to be updated with granite countertops and new floors. The couch/sofa bed was not comfortable. I recommend the bedroom get a curtain like the living room instead of the slat blinds; slats are missing and they made noises in the night if we had the ceiling fan on as they jostled like wind chimes. It was nice to have 2 toilets/sinks, and the bathrooms were stocked with soap and shampoo. The kitchen had dishwasher and laundry detergent provided, as well as dish soap and a couple trash bags. The community pool was small but nice. We were provided with a key, although the pool has been updated with a key code lock. I messaged the property manager asking for the code and didn’t get a response until 8 hours later. Frustrating but we still had a great stay. Thank you!

We loved this little condo. It’s updated and in a nice and quiet area. Great ocean view. You do have to walk a-little ways in either direction to get to beach access, but it’s not too far. Close to the pier and Freeman park. The bed is comfortable, which is always hard to find at these places. Great price! Would definitely stay again!

All was great. The mattress was a big worn out and I could really easily hear people above me. But overall I was very pleased

Great time of year to be on the beach just before the crowds start arriving. The neighbors were friendly and it was very peaceful.

This was such a cute and convenient place to stay. It was clean and functional for what we needed it to be. The price was more than affordable.

The property is well decorated and clean. The kitchen is modern and new. The location is within walking distance (1 mile) or quick Uber to shopping, restaurants and bars. We will definitely be back 😁

Loved the modern kitchen and appliances. TV and WiFi worked great, especially during the 18 inches of rain we got!!

Location was good. The condo was acceptable but for the fee that is charged for cleaning it should be clean. I might be nit picking but I don't want to clean someone else's hair outta of the shower drain. The porch carpet was just gross , tried to sleep up some sand we tracked in but the broom was also full of clumps of hair.. the pool would have been great if it has been a little cleaner. It was cloudy and oily. Overall acceptable for a brief stay but could have been much cleaner

We had a great stay at this condo with our 2 dogs and toddler. The balcony has a great view of the ocean even though it’s not ocean front. The beach access directly across from the property is closed due to erosion but there were several other beach access points very close by. The Carolina Beach pier is a short walk away and you can listen to the bands play from the balcony in the evenings. We enjoyed our stay and will book again in the future.

Location was great. Just a short trip to the beach access (access across the street was closed), bed was comfortable, the balconies were a great place to sit and unwind or enjoy your morning coffee. You could hear the waves crashing right outside the master bedroom. The bathrooms are very small. Kitchen had everything we needed. There are games and toys for the family. Great time all in all.

Very clean, great location to the beach, quiet neighborhood

The condo was very clean and had lots of little extras that saved me some cash at the grocery store (i.e. Dove soap and hair care, makeup removal wipes, paper towels, dish detergent, laundry pods, dishwasher tabs, a sponge, etc.) Aside from that the bed was very soft and comfy. The front balcony has an excellent view of the ocean. I spent many hours out there relaxing during my stay.

We really enjoyed our stay on what felt like the quieter side of Carolina Beach. Had anything we needed, and very close to the beach and an easy drive to the boardwalk and restaurants!

Property was well kept and easy access to the beach. Although its across the street from the ocean , it has a great view of ocean ! Pleasant place to stay and would book again!
