Cozy 2-bedroom condo in lovely Oakland with WiFi

I accepted the residence; decided to take a shower, discovered the cold water didn't work. Looked around , no towels or wash cloth, also no toilet paper. I couldn't get the microwave to work. Looked around the kitchen, no pots or pans, no plates or utensils; otherwise it was alright.

Please note this is not a two bed and a living room. Living room converted to a second bed room. Space is limited. Initially when we checked in, we were debating if we can stay here for a month. We had to buy basic necessasities to make the apartment livable. However later the land lady reimbursed for what we spent and we started to like our stay. Its pretty close to bart, restaurents around, and nice breezes in the evening, we enjoyed close proximity to Berkeley

When we arrived, our first encounter was with the live-in property manager. However, he doesn't speak any English just Russian. So, he had to call the owner, Nina, who immediately started talking to us in an negative manner on the phone. We quickly called Vrbo and resolved that issue. Next, we finally get into the apartment. The description and pics DO NOT properly reflect the apartment. I live in NYC and we are use to smaller and more dingy spaces like that. So, It's literally just a place to sleep. NTM, there NO towels, NO sheets, NO dishes and silverware; dirty mattress with cuts on them; the stove was dirty, outdated, and didn't work properly, etc. The worst part was that they working on the building and performing construction the entire time we stayed there. The construction matters and equipment were left out and scattered around the premise the entire time we were there. The entire time, each time, we walked out of the door there was some construction materials left right in front of the door.
