Cottonwood Condo 1426 - In the Heart of Sun Valley Resort with Pool Access

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Quiet time to be in Sun Valley and thoroughly enjoyable. Comfortable living are with tv and fireplace.( TV instructions would be appreciated!)Hot water temperature needs to be increased also.

We were a bit disappointed to find we didn't have the dvd player in the room as stated and the bed was so uncomfortable that we left a day early. The room outside of that was good though. We arent usually ones to complain, Just a bit disappointed considering the price point that we weren't offered any partial credit back.

It was a nice tiny place. Had what we needed. It was a bit noisy in the late night & early morning. Some noise from people walking through at 12:30am and young children waking up early morning. No consideration. And parking was an issue every night. Zero spots available so we had to park on the grass.

One problem with the condo was that it was on the second floor without an elevator for heavy luggage and cooler. Another problem is that it was a two-story condo and both bathrooms are on the upper floor. Other than that everything else was fine

Be careful going down the stairs between the two floors as the railing doesn't extend all the way and the stairs are steep. And, the unit has very good lighting inside. I will reserve it again for sure.

The rooms are nice and clean and the location is super nice close to the village.

Part of me does not want to write this review. I would love to keep this property our little secret. This condo was just perfect for us in every way. It is situated right on the edge of the Sun Valley Resort. You could throw a rock and hit the ice rink and pavilion they are so close. The family room has a big flat panel tv and comfy couch. Plenty of room for relaxing for 3-4 people. The kitchen is efficiency sized, but with full fridge, microwave and little oven and dishwasher - both stainless steel. There were plenty of dishes and utensils (thanks for leaving tin foil and baggies too - all the comforts of home). There is a nice sized dining area off the kitchen too - you could easily sit 5-6 people at the table. Upstairs there were 2 big bedrooms (i thought they were bigger in person than they appeared in the pics) and 2 nice sized bathrooms. There is also a little kitchenette. No fridge. We did not use that space, but it's cute. Clearly this used to be a lock-off. We also had a washer and dryer upstairs (owners even provided detergent - which we didn't use - still a nice touch). The property was VERY clean. There is no A/C in the unit but there were 2 very large and quite nice fans that were just perfect. If I had any criticism, it would be that some of the windows did not open. Otherwise, we loved this condo and would definitely stay again. I would also say that the price is low, probably, for where it should be renting....I know, I am shooting myself in the foot with that comment, but it really was very nice...also pretty quiet. Great neighborhood feel. Highly recommend.

Reviewer Comments: Overall the experience was good; however, there were a few issues: 1) When we checked in the employee (lady) gave us one key, but should have given us two separate keys, one for the living room level and one for the upstairs entrance. The key she gave us was the upstairs key, but the security chain was on the door so we couldn’t in. We had to wait about an hour for another employee to make us the missing key plus duplicates. He was very polite and as timely as he could be. 2) The directions to the location to pick up the pool pass we’re not detailed enough. We had to look around to find it. 3) It was not disclosed to us that The Billionaires Summer Club was taking place and we didn’t have full access to the pools. The check in employee gave us incorrect dates when the larger was going to be open, and initially we we were not notified that the smaller pool within the village was closed to the condo renters whole time. Should have been notified and given a discount.
