Cottonwood Condo 1422- In the Heart of Sun Valley Resort with Pool Access

Frustrated that I missed out on the pool on Saturday and Sunday of my stay. Miscommunication on how to access the pool and how to obtain the pool passes. I checked in at 5:15pm Saturday and the office was closed after 5pm. The office was also closed on Sunday. I could not access the guest guide and the Sun Valley Rec center did not have a record of me qualifying for pool passes. The whole experience was disappointing as the dismissal by Alpine Rental agency of my repeated concerns.

It’s very confortable and cozy. Although fireplace wouldn’t turn on, even though the pilot light was on. We got a great price for a great place and had access to the sun valley lodge pool, which was great! 5 minute walk.

Property a little tired and dark. But Cottonwoods are great property and location.

This is a good place and gives access to the pool at the Sun Valley inn. Close to resort also. The bathrooms and kitchen are a little small but it worked out great.

Favorite feature: The gas fireplace (we were there in February). Easy access to S.V. Village. One caution. The bathroom setup - the room with the toilet and shower - is very small. We are tall and slim, and it is a narrow fit to get in, then close the door. If you are handicapped or large, it will not work for you. Sink is separated from toilet and shower. We were there to ski - and we could look at and see the sun in the mountains. Gorgeous!

Right across from the Sun Valley Lodge it made for easy access to the lodge and village with a short walk. All amenities were provided as well.

After the mouse incident.... Management wasn’t really concerned about my bad experience. They just kept telling me I should have called them so they could’ve set some traps. Haha. True story. I suggest if you rent this unit, keep the cheese away!!! Also. Sorry unit, very small and extremely outdated. I’d recommend you look elsewhere for your stay in Sun Valley.

Property was very clean and convenient to Sun Valley Lodge and the Village. Very adequate for our needs during this stay. I will add that the property is very small, and decor makes it very dark inside, but overall, we were satisfied.
