Stayed May 8, 2025We have enjoyed staying at Richard's condo in past years, and this trip did not disappoint. The condo has been updated since our last visit, and the furnishings are comfortable and inviting. Everything you could possibly need is provided, including linens and basic kitchen and bath necessities. The oceanfront covered deck has comfortable furniture, and we enjoyed reading while listening to the ocean. When we checked out during a heavy rainstorm, it was so nice being able to stay dry while loading up underneath the building. We enjoyed surf fishing in front of the building, and my husband caught whiting and blues. The beach is very wide in this part of Carolina Beach, and we enjoyed viewing beautiful sunsets at the Cape Fear River at Ft. Fisher and at ICW at Snow's Cut at Carolina Beach State Park. We look forward to staying here again!

Stayed Sep 5, 2024Place exceeded my expectations. Wonderful location right on the beach. I liked the first floor location since I have bad knees and my 89 year old dad came to visit. The only down side is that you don't have a clear view of the beach. You can see the ocean and part of the beach past the sand dunes which are right in front of you. It wasn't an issue for me and I loved the easy access and the sound of the waves as I had breakfast on the deck. The place is wonderful with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Can't say enough good things about the place and the owner. I was there almost 3 weeks and during the big flood (1 in 1000 year) but we stayed high and dry. Highly recommend!
