Coral Lagoon #4 - Pool - Dockage - Minutes to Open Water and Vaca Cut

If you want a great place to stay, fish, and swim, look no further. Centrally located in Marathon close to everything! We usually stay at Hawk's Cay Resort but we found this unit to be nearly identical on paper. The unit comes furnished with everything you need. Better than the resort bc #1 it's a fraction of the price. #2 it's bigger, #3 beds are more comfortable and #4 they make sure you have cleaning supplies, a broom, coffee, detergent, and all of the things you didn't think to bring when you left home. The only thing we ran out of in 9 days was TP. Bring your own fishing equipment and pool stuff & you're good to go. Not as much to do as the resorts but you're saving between $5-$10,000. We bought resort day passes for the Islander resort on days we wanted to lay on the beach but there are about a hundred other things to do in and around Marathon. The drive to Key West or Islamorada is not all that long, totally worth it. Car or jet ski rental is less than 2 miles away. Pro Tip: get groceries at Walmart before you get into the Keys, bacon is $9 so you can imagine how much a full week of food will cost if you do not heed my advice.

Spent a lot of morning and evening time on the front porch. Great view. Watched the manatees in the lagoon. Area was quiet. Pool was great. Close to grocery stores, drug stores and restaurants. Short drive to beach. Overall the rental was very nice and well stocked.
