Condo in the Heart of Douglas

This is our 3rd stay at this location. And this stay was a doozy with the severe storms of Thursday night May 15th! With many emergency weather sirens and trees down ...luckily there wasn't any damage to the property and the windows/doors were all sound and weather tight. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom lovely and up to date, The bed very comfy. My only suggestions would be to re-arrange the couch to face the tv. With the beautiful hardwood floors, we did not want to move anything and possibly scratch them. This property is only a block from downtown with shops and restaurants. My son owns a winery just a few miles away and this is a great location for us and will definitely stay again.

I booked this quaint condo for my mother and I the weekend of the tulip festival. It was only a 20 minute drive to Holland and few minutes from Saugatuk which has cute shops. The place was comfy and felt at home. There is a king size bed which was perfect for my mother and I. It was comfy with plenty of pillows and some throw blankets. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this one again.

Great location to explore the coast of Michigan, easy check in, and a great covered porch to read and relax. Bruce

My husband and I stayed at this condo for 4 days. The condo was a downstairs unit with an oversized kitchen with minimal cooking equipment. There was no living room space besides an oversized couch pushed against a wall and an armchair at the other side of the room positioned in the corner behind the front door. The TV was mounted on the wall however you could not move it enough to watch it sitting on the couch. The furnishing of the unit was incongruent and just didn’t flow, seemed everything was taken from random places to fill the space. The bathroom was nicely upgraded however there were no hooks for the towels to hang. The unit was in a corner lot and you could hear cars passing by also the upper renters steps and even toilet usage could be heard. The early and late checkout fees were also excessive and unnecessary.Overall , for the price it was a Dissapointing experience.

Convenience and comfort

This charming 1 bd/br was perfect for a quiet getaway. The location was perfect for an easy stroll into downtown Douglas. The host was wonderful and quick to respond to any request. A definite return-to-place!!
