Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Living room furniture needs to be replaced and updated, very uncomfortable. It would be great to have a recliner in the living area. My husband is disabled, so that would make it much more comfortable for him. Patio furniture is a bit rusty.

The furniture is all way outdated, the sofa bed in the living room was very unclean and unsanitary, I could not even let my kids sleep on it which put us in a bind. All of the bedrooms mattresses need to be updated as well. Other than that everything is always so nice at silver dunes. Just won’t stay in this specific condo again.

Reviewer Comments: - Pool closed for repairs entire week (no mention on booking) - Condo was extremely musty, moldy smelling, came home with head cold and congestion from smell. - spent $40.00 on febreeze and scented candles. Master bedroom smelled so bad I slept on the couch all week - No cushions provided for the cabanas (first time in over 30 years) - Covered parking roped off and not available all week. no work took place while I was there - Washing machine broken. carried wash to family member in another unit - Both shower heads suck!!! could have gotten a better shower from the rinse station on the beach. I mean shower heads are $10..... - One bathtub didnt drain by the time u were rinsed enough to get out water was past your ankles. - Arrived to a dishwasher packed full of half clean dishes and an aweful smell - After 30+ years of coming here the week after Christmas, I can say that this was probably the last year I will stay at silver dunes. - Never had any issue while house keeping was on site, this has almost become a joke

This year was challenging. We reserved a unit on the 4th floor and upon arrival we were told the elevator was being serviced and wouldn’t be working for half of the stay. We had to get a hotel because we arrived after hours. We had no notice beforehand that the elevator would be out. We chose this unit because of a disability, and this was next to the elevator and disabled parking. The disabled parking also was not available due to repairs happening at the facility. Nothing was offered to try and compensate us. We were moved to another unit the next day where the elevator was working. This unit needs updating badly. Mold was on the walls in one of the bedrooms. So not our expectation at all this year. I would still recommend Silver Dunes as we have been there either with our parent or our own rental for many years. We enjoy the location and George and David at the beach are great. Glad to see the updates happening. But communication with customers is important and customer satisfaction is key. Disappointed in that this year.

Nice music one evening and very enjoyable.Nice family oriented vacation spot but not really a place for couple with no children or grandchildren. Would probably not stay again due to many screaming kids, unless I had children or grandchildren.

We did think the furniture had been arranged in a way that didn’t really in our opinion suit the layout of the condo. We had a problem with electrical outlets that needs to be resolved. All other issues were quickly resolved.

We love coming in October and enjoying the beach and local seafood.
