Reviewer Comments: Was a pleasant stay with minor issues regarding the air conditioner (fixed next day with no problem) and dryer not timing out (problem reported and scheduled to be fixed day of departure). 2nd year staying at this unit and would stay here again.

Stayed Jun 9, 2025We love traveling to Gulf Shores. This was our 4th year staying at Heron Landing, but our first time in this unit. We love the quietness and location. The home decor and furniture was more dated than other units we have stayed in, the home felt cluttered. The dryer didn’t work correctly and the ac struggles to cool the house. Since this house was a bit more expensive than some of the other homes in this landing, I would likely pick one of the other units for next year.

Stayed Jul 13, 2025Property was nice. Definitely a few things that were disappointing. The porch swing was sitting on the ground not hooked up as we arrived. Many of the forks and spoons were still dirty. Bathroom towel racks fell off the wall when we grab a towel. The internet only worked about half of the time.

THE CONDO WAS READY WHEN WE ARRIVED AND EVERYTHING WAS IMMACULATE. WE HAD NO PROBLEMS DURING OUR STAY AND THE BENDER OFFICE REACHED OUT TO US TO ASSURE THAT WE WERE HAVING NO PROBLEMS ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION.

We have been coming to this same condo for over 20 years. Absolutely love the location! Only a few steps to the beach and you have your own pier to fish off of. Very quaint and quiet. You are still close to all attractions and restaurants but far enough away from traffic and crowds. This is like our home away from home!

The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The staff was very helpful and made us feel at home. It was close to the beach with its own access, had a private pier on the lagoon out back, and everything was well maintained and perfect. Parlor doughnuts was a favorite place for the kids to get their snack on. We also checked out bubbas seafood restaurant too and it was amazing. We will definitely be back, and we are definitely sticking with bender because their customer service is unlike anything we’ve experienced at any of the other places we go.
