Coastal Clearwater Condo: Half Mile to Beach!

Great location. Large space. Clean. Right within walking distance of everything.

The location and views are great! The condition of the unit is not so great. The queen bed makes a noise every time someone moves. If we had the proper tools we could have tightened the bolts.The toilet by the kitchen keeps running. we could jiggle the handle and that would work sometimes. However, a couple of times we had to remove the lid to fix it.The blinds don't operate properly. Easy fix, replace them.

We had arrived 2 hours early but were allowed to put our luggage in condo while the cleaning person was still there. Upon our return, she was just finishing up (she did a wonderful job) but we noticed the ice maker wasn’t working. She contacted the host/manager, Kim. Kim had said what probably happened was the previous renter filled their cooler but it would replenish. The cleaning lady said she would go get us a bag until it filled. Well, i’s just plain broke (we first arrived 2 hours early; it should’ve made some ice by then. Also description states “en suite”….there is no “en suite” the bathroom was outside the room around the corner. Numerous fuses popped after we used them AND we were trapped in the newly installed elevator (Dec ‘25) for a 1/2 hour!!!! The fire department came & got us out. Contacted Kim, but never heard anything more than “I contacted the association”. Other than that, for the money, it was fine.

Perfect spot for a winter getaway to the sunshine.

Furniture dated, not very clean. Overall condo needs to be updated.

Great location and easy walk to the beach. Perfect stay for our family of 5 and 2 extras. Teen girls and a 7 year old. Bonus of seeing sea manatees and dolphins off the balcony. Amazing sunset watching with less than five minute walk from condo. Will keep this location saved under favs.

Nice location and access to the beach and the resort (Opal Sands) where we attended a wedding. The property manager was very courteous and quickly resolved the two issues we contacted her about: a missing parking pass, and a bug infestation in the kitchen. Overall, however, the unit needs attention on several issues, and is not accurately portrayed in the photos advertised on the VRBO site. We took several photos, which I’ll offer to send to the owner. A few issues: the kitchen was not clean (stovetop, microwave, dirty tableware); microwave door facing damaged; no kitchen towels; no headboard on bed; torn sheet; filthy furnace area; no lid for trash can in kitchen next to kitchen table; black mold on ceiling outside of air vent; light switch plate hanging out of wall; lack of lighting in family room; coffee table top damaged. Do not recommend this property— esp at this price.

Graduation reward trip

It was not in the condition listed on Vrbo. Some things were broken and the place was not very clean. The tub was clogged and we couldn't shower without it overflowing until we went to Walmart and bought a snake for the drain. Also the master bedroom remotes didn't work for the tv and some of the drawers were broken. All in all it was peaceful and comfy inside and we enjoyed our vacation completely. No place is perfect.

Loved the location and was spectacular to wake up to sunrise and dolphins every morning! The layout was perfect for all that stayed. Great not to have to pack beach chairs or umbrella as well.

We booked this stay last minute adding a few days on the back of a business trip. Our choices were limited as we needed a Sunday-Wednesday stay. We narrowed it down to this property to be close to the beach/bars/ as our college age sons were joining us.First the GOOD:Communication w/ the property management team was outstanding, timely, & accurate. The property was a close walk to the beach, bars, convenience stores etc. There was a nice view of the intercostal/canal from the front of property outside the front door and some nice lounge chairs. Was a peaceful place to spend the mornings and on occasion we saw dolphins swimming around. The unit had nice beach chairs, beach toys, umbrellas, available for use and that was helpful.Now the not Not-So-Good: the rental unit was in need of repair as several things were broken, didn’t work, or simply worn out. Three of the closet doors were broken or off the tracks, a few of the dresser drawers were broken, the door from one of the bedrooms to the deck would not shut fully which meant if it was windy and the front door opened it would blow the deck door open. A few times my son woke up to the door being open. The clothes dryer lint trap slot was packed full and needed to be serviced. The kitchen sink was very loose & needs some maintenance. There were other little annoyances- broken switches, loose sockets, etc. but those were the main issues with the rental unit.

We had a great stay with our family. With the little kids, we appreciated the sand toys, beach chairs, and umbrellas available for our use. The condo was clean and an easy walk to the beach. Great communication with the host. We would gladly stay again!

View was nice and the location was perfect for our occasion. Definitely recommend.

The condo is in a great location, easy to walk to beach and restaurants. The pool is smaller but wasn’t too busy during our stay. It had all the kitchen tools and supplies needed. Plus beach supplies. Kim was awesome to work with for the baby quip baby cribs we rented and amazing during the tropical storm! We saw dolphins in the harbor a few mornings too :)

Great place to stay! Clean & quiet. Walking distance to beach and restaurants.

We were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go, Which made for a hassle free relaxing vacation. The condo could use some repairs. The door to the washer and dryer is completely broken. Washer has mold.and could stand some deep cleaning, Overall everything is clean we would certainly stay there again but would hope some of the minor repairs would be addressed sooner than later.

Very enjoyable stay! Beautiful view and very nice place to stay for short or long term. Close to the beach and other stores/attractions. Property manager was helpful with early check in and quick to respond. Overall great time, would love to come back again!
