Chickadee Cottage/ Footsteps from Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor!

We had a wonderful stay at Chickadee Cottage! This beautiful townhome is very spacious & clean. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you could possibly need for cooking & dining in. We appreciated that it was stocked with all the supplies we needed for the week (paper goods, bags, soaps, detergents, etc..). There are even board & card games to enjoy. All of the little comfort & convenience items - from laundry baskets & throw blankets to notepads & pens - made it truly feel like a home rather than a rental!The location is great ... close to both downtown Bar Harbor and the Park entrance.Steve was helpful and quick to respond when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was well maintained, great location for getting to Bar Harbor town and Acadia National Park by car or Island Explorer bus! We had a great stay!

Peaceful, clean, and very comfortable, this property worked out great for our family of four adults. It had all the amenities we needed to include games and puzzles for evening together time, use of the washer and dryer (incredibly helpful) and air conditioning though we only used it at night. Roughly 10 minute walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor and one of the park bus stops as well as a few hike starting points. We certainly enjoyed every minute!

We has an medical emergency and could only stay one night. We hope to return in the future. We never made it into the park butcthis house is a great location!

Bar Harbor and Acadia were excellent places for 4th of July. Vrbo did not update the check in process but a neighbor helped out and the owner showed up in just minuts

Our family decided to do a trip to somewhere in the lower 48 as our family Christmas present. We each put two choices of places into a hat and the last choice drawn would be where we'd go! Bar Harbor was the winner and it was a group effort to plan our visit! I researched where to stay and the Chickadee was the perfect choice. Great location to BH area and Acadia. We had everything we needed. Steve does a wonderful job thinking of everything travelers could need, especially those flying from afar. If we ever come back to this area, we would not think twice about staying at the Chickadee.

I would definitely stay again at this property. Location was perfect for Bar Harbor and Acadia. Everything was as described and communication was excellent with the property manager. We loved how quiet it was and we had everything we needed. We will be back!

Great place to stay for our annual girls trip (50+). We loved the location and the house literally has anything you could want/need already stocked. We enjoyed it very much and loved that we were within walking distance to the park or downtown,

The Chickadee was minutes away from Acadia, which made it possible for us to visit the park multiple times a day and maximize the number of sights we could see. It was also very conveniently located close to Bar Harbor - so we could easily access the grocery store, bike rentals, restaurants etc. The property itself was very clean and neat, and was in a very quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked and carried everything we needed for a few days stay. The primary bedroom was spacious although the full beds in the 2 additional rooms were a little tight for 2 adults to share. Overall, we had a great trip, a very convenient stay and would definitely recommend and come back!
