Brilliant location - everything was provided to make the stay very pleaseant
There are pros and cons to the apartment; however, many of those have been talked about in previous reviews. Taking everything from the car in the Whitaker parking garage to the apartment was a chore, but we didn’t use the car from Friday evening till Monday morning because we were able to comfortably walk all over downtown Savannah. The weekend nightlife is LOUD due to bars very near the apartment and cars trying to show off exhausts and sound systems, so recommend earplugs. During the day is great, especially with the quality shopping right outside the location including The Coffee Fox, Savannah Bee Company, and The Paris Market Savannah to name a few. Also only a few minutes from the Riverfront shops and eateries like Cafe M, or head the opposite direction to explore the many nearby squares and their unique surrounding shops like E. Shavers Books.
Centrally located, everything is within walking distance. The condo was very clean, AC worked great. Nice size, especially if you arent planning on spending much time inside. Only complaint is that we weren't given any extra rolls of toilet paper...just the one roll. And it may or may not be haunted. Lights and fans kept turning on or off, which we attributed to ghosts
This condo was in a great location. Easy access to River Street, restaurants, and shopping. It was very quiet we were not bothered by any noise inside or outside of the building. The place was clean and tidy. The air wasn't as cool as we would have liked but the ceiling fans helped. I would recommend this place and would stay again in the future.
Very cute place however did not seem as clean as it should have been when we first arrived. We found other peoples hair in the bedding as well as in the bath towels. Bath towels had a stench to them when they got wet(even after washing) probably due to age. Since the location is in the main town, it can get noisy at night and into the very early morning. Vacasa had excellent communication and easy access with entry in terms of codes/keypads. We had a great time exploring Savannah and what it had to offer. Lots to do around the area and the place is at a good location so it makes it easy to walk to places.
Amazing place! Clean, great location, and comfortable. Wish I could have stayed longer but will definitely come back! Communication with property was on point! :)
The apartment location was great. Pleasant apartment except for the stools, they were rather uncomfortable. Very clean. Entry to the apartment needed a light to be able to see the numbers, so if you did not have a flashlight, you were out of luck. We had a phone flashlight
Condo was quite lovely, spacious, clean. Only glitch was that we were given the wrong passcode for door, but mgmt did remedy. Condo was in perfect location so everything was walkable. We took the advise of others & brought sound machine for sleeping for street noises. Suggest bringing eye mask if you rent this VRBO as light streams in from blinds. We took advantage of washer & dryer in condo as we packed light. Purchased some basics from Walgreens a couple blocks down and cooked egg sandwiches (kitchen had basic pans etc). Coffee Fox was right outside bldg for morning coffee. If you need ideas: Day 1 - rented car from Enterprise at airport & drove to Tybee. Rented golf cart at Tybee Golf Carts. We drove back to Savannah, returned car to Enterprise in town and went to dinner at Flock to the Wok (one block from condo) Day 2 - food tour Savannah Culinary & Cultural. booked through Viator. In evening, we did the Original Haunted Savannah Tour booked through Viator. Had dinner at Flying Monkey Noodle Day 3 Bike tour w/Savannah Bike Tours - Peddle Through History. Lunch at Kayak Kafe Day 4 - breakfast at Goose Feathers. The Escape Company (escape room). Visited Pounce Cat Cafe Dinner - Fox & Fig Treats from La Macaroon Walked Riverwalk and watched live jazz band. Riverwalk is a nice place to stroll. Has rooftop bars, candy & tshirt shops Walked around City Market - cute shops
The location was perfect. There was enough room for us. very clean and well decorated.
great location to everything in the historic district. It was pretty loud on Friday and Saturday nights as you are very close to Jazz bar. However the beds and pillows were excellent and made for a good night sleep.
The apartment was roomy, clean and nicely furnished. The common areas ie elevator and entry way were dirty.
Good location, very clean.
In the middle of everything
Right in the middle of everything you want to do. Brewery and coffee shop across the street, and short walk to all parks and river
The apartment was clean. The location was walking distance from great restaurants and attractions. We definitely enjoyed our stay.
We tried to check in and the lock didn't work on the unit door. I tried to contact Mandy the local front desk specialist who send me a text earlier that day. Her mail box was FULL. I texted her, no answer until 3 days later. We had 3 cell phones calling all the numbers we were given after being on hold for about 15 minutes , someone answered one of the phone numbers, after another 30 they finally agreed to send someone to let us in, another 45 minutes and the tech arrived . He was great and efficient. On the third day of our stay I received a phone call from Mandy the local specialist about letting in someone to trouble shoot the wifi that we hadn't called had issues with or called about. They allowed that person to access our unit without permission. Great location but we wouldn't stay again because of the lack of communication and ability to contact anyone with issues.
My sister and I stayed here for a girls weekend. This place was absolutely adorable and set in the perfect location-we never once used our car. We also loved all of the large windows, because we could people watch even when we weren't actively walking around Savannah.
When I looked at the property it said it had an elevator. When we arrived the elevator was not working and from talking to a resident whose lives there it hasn’t worked four quite some time. Also had difficulties with the Internet. I Had a Commentedon that we had four people stand for a total of five days and was only given three towels. When called to ask about that they told me I A washer and I could wash the towels.
Noisy
The condo was in a great spot. We were able to walk to everything in the downtown area that we wanted to do. Plenty of cooking utensils, a few missing that we notified them would be good to add. Weekends do get a little noisy at night since you're right outside of a downtown area, so it should be expected. The elevator in the building is old and scary, so we took the stairs the entire time. Otherwise, we enjoyed the space very much!
