We arrived the week after a storm and the beach was gone . Didn't have to go sit on the beach, it had come to us . This is an older unit and had been renovated . There are 28 steps up to the unit. It was clean and well stocked. We had some plumbing issues and the plumber was out that day. Overall we had good weather and the dogs enjoyed the beach.

The condo was charming, well stocked with anything we could need, and the view just couldn’t be beat! I realize that this isn’t within the owners control, but the beach access was closed due to beach erosion and we had to walk a block to a public access, which with little kids we would have chosen a different rental had we known. Not a huge issue, but it should have been disclosed on the listing.

Comfortable oceanfront unit that provided all the important amenities, plus additional things to facilitate our stay and make the week very pleasant. Very nice decor (part of our family was in another unit in this building, but we hung out here because it was nicer). Nice beach chairs provided. Would definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful week in Carolina Beach at this property. The view was amazing, and the beach was just a few steps away. There was more than enough space for us, and the hosts were responsive and very easy to communicate with. I 100% would stay again.

Property was very cutely decorated & clean. The best part was being so close to the beach! Just a short walk to the ocean with all our beach gear!

Perfect little spot at the beach. Simply decorated and comfortable. Kitchen is tight with nowhere to put snacks but we made it work. We had beautiful evenings on the porch overlooking the ocean and its location is close to everything In Carolina Beach.

Location, balcony view and convenience to the beach was great, enjoyed the canopy and beach chairs, appreciated the welcome gift and notebook with lots of helpful info, very good communication with owner. Enjoyed no rugs for easy clean up of sand during our stay. Kitchen was small but doable, older property but pretty well maintained. Guest bedroom darker curtains would be a helpful addition-lots of light came in early with the current sheers. LOTS of dishes/glasses provided- so much so that we had difficulty finding room for our food and supplies.

I'll start with the positives. It is right on the beach and it was relatively quiet. Now let's discuss everything else. When we arrived the unit was pretty dirty. We didn't mention anything to the property owner because we arrived late and we're very tired. There was sand and hair on the beds which you had to make yourself. I thought that was pretty odd. I've never had to make the bed at any VRBO property and while a little thing felt it needed mentioned for future renters. The sheets were VERY thin and the fitted sheet kept coming off so we would wake up on the plastic mattress cover. There was no blanket in one of the bedrooms so we went to Dollar General and bought a blanket. We should have bought sheets as well. The kitchen was tiny and the dishes were dirty. Dishwasher was full of dishes. There were only 2 small frying pans available so we also purchased a cheap 12 from Dollar General that we left there for everyone else. Don't expect to cook very many meals here, it's just not possible. The back bathroom fan sounds like a jet engine lol. We would shut that door at night due to the noise which then made that bedroom warm at night. The mattresses were ok. Not great but not terrible. Their was very little dresser and closet space. It was better than living out of a suitcase though. Overall this place needed a lot of TLC. It was dirty and dated and not really up to our standards. It was similar to staying in an Econo Lodge or Motel 6. Hoping the owners update soon.

Beautiful place. Wished I would have known about the 4 sets of 7 stairs to get to condo. Brought mother who has trouble walking. The condo was second floor and there was another above us. People upstairs extremely loud with heavy walking and very loud sexcapaides at night.
