It was very clean, the linens were SPARSE!! No dishtowel, 2 washcloths, 3 towels for 3 people. The email about checkout going to charge for an extra night if not vacated by 10 am seemed harsh and greedy, especially after the cheapness of the less than 1 facecloth per guest and no conditioner. The hardwood floors have a few large holes that could be dangerous. I'd bring my own toiletries and stay again, realizing you cannot use the bathtub and need to bring your own facecloths, no handtowels either.

We stayed here for one night in our way to Fl. The place itself was nice and clean except for the fact that the 2nd bathroom toilet didn’t work and there is no shower in that bathroom . I wish there had been more description to locate the door to access the building and the best way to unload your luggage. The building has no parking so you have to use the public parking located behind the building. The area this condo was located at was not the most ideal due to too many homeless hanging around this area. The condo itself although located on canal st wasn’t too bad on noise if you sleep w a fan. Otherwise you will hear everything from the street. The back bedroom not so much. The building itself was secure from street access. We felt safe there. I just wanted to be descriptive in this review for the things I wished we had known prior. During the day it’s fine that’s just New Orleans. We didn’t leave the building after dark. If you stay here best to find a unloading spot upfront to unload luggage to get up stairs and the door to access the building is located right next door to a COVID test center.

Renter beware: First Apt, 401 was not as advertised and possibly all the 01's are 2bed 1full and 1/2 bath. AC did not work (Jun HOT), tub drained slowly (10min). Plumber left nasty mess in bathroom, AC could not be fixed. Moved to 203 it was as advertised 2bed 2 full baths. Units are in need of some refreshing , beds are fantastic but they use flat sheets, not fitted, so you struggle to keep bottom sheet from moving at night and then making bed. Unmarked laundry and dishwasher pods (in plastic cups) could be disastrous and in second unit noted that someone who does not use pods in fact put laundry pod in dishwasher. Keyless entry into 401 was a challenge, lock was a difficult. NOISE from street below in 401 and assume all front facing units is AWFUL even with earplugs, lots of loud vehicles and motorcycles racing up and down into wee hrs of morning. Mgmt and I spent several days on phone over AC and plumbing, it was difficult as we all had conference at Marriott down the way and not readily available to approve entry of workers. Finally moved evening #3 due to AC and 80 degree apt. The area is much rougher than I remember, homeless sleeping out front and up and down Canal St., feces and urine in every available corner, very sad situation with homeless. Mgmt offered a 10% discount on next rental, of course I won't rent from HOSTEEVA again and not helpful with the 1800+ that was spent, time wasted talking to company and of course late evening decision to move us to another unit. Shudder to think what would have happened if they had no unit available in building. As an owner of a rental on VRBO I was appalled at how a company that has 400+ rentals managed to be so short sighted and misleading.

Great place, secure, nice decor, very clean and modern, memory foam beds a plus. The only bad thing about the place is the noise from Canal St. The windows do not cancel the street noise, whatsoever, Canal is a very busy street 24/7 and quite loud. Other than that we enjoyed the place

Spacious and clean! Canal street can be loud but not too bad. Loved having 2 bathrooms and windows we could open.

The property on Canal st was very nice, clean and secure. It’s literally across the street (Canal St) from the Quarter. Check-in process was simple and we were able to check in early. There are several units in this 4 story building. We had the one directly facing Canal St on the 4th floor. Great views but it is very noisy in the master bedroom at night due to traffic and party people walking along the street. Our daughter and her friend had the second bedroom, which wasn’t facing the street, and they had no complaints of noise. I would recommend black out curtains for the master bedroom to block the city lights. Otherwise, it was a very nice property.

The apartment was clean and pretty accurately described. The French Quarter across the street, Bourbon Street a few blocks down and many spots to see in the downtown area. In addition to the list of parking areas, we recommend the covered garage at 145 Roosevelt Way (Unipark) -- inexpensive overnight w/in and out privileges. And it is the closest to the apartment.
