Stayed Jul 12, 2023I will start with the Pros: Clean unit, nice space for a 1 bedroom, the view is fantastic! The chairs on the deck are wonderful and they glide, the kitchen was well equipped, appliances are older but I believe they are updating that soon. The bed was large and comfortable, decorated nicely. Close to everything in the heart of Destin. Cons: The couch is shot, no cushioning left, we heard every step people took from the unit above us ? The beach was unbelievably packed, now I know it’s July, a busy time, but I guess I was expecting a nice place to sit and listen to the ocean and get sun but it was more like a busy highway……the sightseeing helicopter flew over about every 15 minutes, an ice cream vendor went down the beachfront playing music, and chairs were lined side by side for miles, just too much congestion for us. If you want to be in the middle of everything and don’t mind the commercialization and lots of peeps then this is the location for you, it just wasn’t a fit for us. The unit itself I would stay in again if I could pick it up and move it to a quiet place.
