Bright 4th Floor Condo w/ Gulf Views & Modern Touches on Scenic 98 in Destin!

Great space! Worked perfect for our family of 6. We had so much fun.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sterling Shores resorts. The property was very clean and well maintained. Could use some updating here and there like in the bathrooms, but overall a great property. They were doing renovations on the front of the building, we which is in the description of the property. It was very loud but we knew about it beforehand and didn't affect our experience.The location is awesome, near lots of restaurants and a very short walk to the beach just past the pool. The sand was so soft and beautiful. Walmart and Publix right down the road. Our favorite meal was at Peppers. Definitely recommend. Considering coming back to this property next year! Thank you for a great stay.

The condo was wonderful. It was clean and had everything we needed. It looked just like the pictures. One thing I wish we would have known is that the beach is completely taken up by a chair and umbrella company. I wish we would have reserved our chairs and umbrella ahead of time to get the front row. We paid about 350 to have chairs and an umbrella in the second row.

Property location is great. Access to beach is wonderful. Pools are beautiful. Condo could be stocked better with salt, pepper, sugar, etc. Needs new king mattress. Otherwise great experience.

This was our second time staying at Sterling Shores, but our first time in this unit. Unit was great for our family of four! It does sleep six, but the additional sleeping is the pull out couch in the living room. We traveled with three other families, and all were satisfied with their units too! The Back Porch is a gem to have nearby as we could hear names being called from our balcony. Excellent food, but they were extremely busy each night we were there. That’s why it was nice to go and put our name in, and we could walk back to our room for a drink. They call your name at least twice, so you don’t miss your reservation. They have outside seating for waiting too. The beach was amazing, and we walked almost 1.5 miles down to a beach bar one day. The kids went on a banana boat ride, and these type of excursions are only a few doors down from Sterling Shores. They had jet skis too. Also, we highly recommend Jackacuda’s Seafood and Sushi. Excellent sushi and food! Lastly, we enjoyed having the beach chairs that are at the condo for use. When we stayed a couple years ago (different unit), they provided two beach rental chairs for the week. They were set up with our name each morning we walked out to the beach. That was amazing, but I’m sure those days are over for providing them with increased costs for everything. Perfect week, nearly perfect weather, and perfect accommodations!!

We were so pleased with this room! Very clean and loved all the complimentary boxes in each bathroom and kitchen. The view is great as well!

We have stayed here for over 10 plus years and loved this place. We stay at a different condo each year to switch it up. This year was the first time that it was not up to par. The resort itself didn’t have a solid working evaluator the whole time we were there (7 days) and no-one was anyone working on them. (2/3 evaluators didn’t work and the 3rd one was sketchy to not working). We were thankful that we (kids included) were able to make it up and down the flight of stairs, but my heart went out to those in a wheel chair or not capable of making the flight of stairs with and without luggage. Also, there were teenage softball girls staying there at the same time. They were going around and banging on doors at night then running. Our kids were sound asleep and woken up to this nonsense. Not to mention the softball girls flooded the pool and invited the whole team and families over to swim to others not staying on property. As the majority left out the gates when the pool closed. No one was monitoring the area on wrists bands or walking the halls. I am sure there were several complaints after speaking with others staying at the resort. This is the first time that we felt sour about this location. It use to be home away from home, but we feel for what we paid for and the whole experience that this may be our last stay here. We didn’t expect everything to be picture perfect, but we did expect the basics to be up to par and also to have working elevators.

Overall the condo was nice. When we arrived to the resort it wasn’t clear about checking in normal time. Didn’t get notified when the condo was ready other then looking ourselves online. The condo was overall clean, the curtains needed cleaned up and saw visible dust on the shelves. The sliding door to go out on the balcony from the living room is so difficult to open and close. The dryer definitely takes 2-3 times of starting the dryer over to fully dry clothes (and the clothes are not overstuffed in the washer) the fan and light in the master bath didn’t work. Didn’t even attempt to use the big bath tub. On day 4 of being here the elevator stopped working and never was fixed… which I feel should have been priority to the resort with how many people are there. The overall vibes of the place was fun for the family. The big pool was clean and the bathrooms were clean at the pool. Was nice to just walk a short distance across the little ally and go directly to the beach/ enjoy the back porch. Parking was perfect love that you have to have code to get into the resort. Doesn’t take long to get to many restaurants and stores for groceries. Would def recommend if your coming to this hotel to either pack trash bags, paper towels, laundry soap, shampoo and conditioner. We used the Keurig coffee pot a lot. Def don’t recommend going to Walmart and Publix late evening it’s so crazy there during those times !! Recommend early am !!

This was a great place to stay all the decoration in the room fit the stay. Over all furniture in good condition although I could not use the spa in main bedroom not sure if it didn’t work or that I didn’t know how to turn it on. The area/real state at the private beach access is a little small for all the peolpe in sterling shores. (Elbow to elbow) We had to go to the Henderson Beach to get more space and play on the beach. But Condo stay, security, parking all good. We made breakfast order food and had no problem with all of that.
