The condo was very comfortable, and the amenities were nice. My favorite spot was the balcony at sunrise. The hosts were very responsive and kind. This was our 1st trip to Topsail, but we do not plan on it being our last.

What a place! Especially for the money. You truly can't get more on the beach. As soon as we got in the place we watched about 25 dolphin playing right in front of us.... jumping out of water and riding waves. Beautiful sunrises. We did cook some while there and the kitchen had everything needed. We had to take sheets and towels but I'm sure that's one reason for the good price. The owner was great with communication... answered almost immediately when emailed and checked on us daily to make sure we had everything we needed. The only reasons for the 4 instead of a 5... THOSE STAIRS!! Three full flights, no elevator. But it is in the description so can't complain. The beds were comfy but the furniture in the living room was a bit hard... but seriously, we had a great time and the only i probably won't return is I'm 70 with a bad back and the stairs were hard to deal with.

10/10! This condo is all you can ask for and then some. It was very clean when we arrived, no issues at all. Lisa was great to communicate with, always promptly responding, and being so kind! We enjoyed mornings on the porch watching the waves, walks on the beach, and some super fun nights at the tiki bar down the street. All in all, a very cozy, comfortable stay with great attention to detail and cleanliness.

This is a great place on the water in a great neighborhood.

The only great thing about this place is the closeness to the beach!Everything else was terrible. Cleanliness of the room/apartment was disgusting. Dust bunnies hanging from the drywall ceiling in the bedroom. The musty/mildew/mold smell was overwhelming and sickening. The door frame was covered in black mold, easily seen. The bed was so uncomfortable. Well used and permanent impressions left from previous visitors/stays.Shower rod was not attached to wall.Main door was hanging off hinges.Couch and chair in living room were visible stained and dirty. Never sat down once during our stay inside.My husband and I left a day and a half early due to feeling ill from smell and mold in space and not sleeping well due to worn bed.

Slightly outdated, especially in the bathroom, but didn't stop us from having a great time.

The host was very nice, concerned about our comfort and easy to reach. The property was very well stocked, as we cooked several meals. The ocean front balcony view was breathtaking. We loved every aspect of our stay. Thank you!!

Unsafe Conditions & Broken Refund Promise – Avoid This RentalA few days before check-in, we were told the AC wasn’t working but that a portable splitter was keeping the unit cool. Since the host assured us it was comfortable, we didn’t consider it a major issue.When we arrived, we were immediately hit with a strong mold and musty odor—detectable even before opening the door. Inside, I found visible mold on the AC units and in the windows. I contacted the owner right away, explaining that my husband has allergies and my son has respiratory issues. She asked us to “give it a night,” but within 30 minutes my son began coughing and clearing his throat. I started searching for a new rental immediately.After sending photos of the mold to both the owner and VRBO, we were assured by both that we would receive a full refund if we moved out—which we did within 30 minutes of arrival. VRBO even confirmed the refund by phone and email.Two weeks later, we discovered the refund was never issued. Now the host is refusing to honor the full amount promised.This unit is unfit for occupancy. The smell of mold is overwhelming, and there is clear rotting along the windows, baseboards, and doors. If you have asthma, allergies, or any respiratory sensitivities, this rental is unsafe. It should not be listed until the mold problem is professionally resolved. I will fight for the refund promised to us by VRBO and the host.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the ocean. It was easy to get to the beach.

Owners: 5-star service. They were very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. They made check-in super easy. They were also very responsive when the front door lock failed. It was a new electronic lock from a very reputable company, but the button panel failed so we couldn't open the lock. The owner was able to open the lock remotely via wi-fi so we were only locked out for a couple minutes.The Condo: 3 stars for the condo. It was pleasant enough with plenty of room for a couple or a family with one or two small kids. However, there was a musty odor that we couldn't get rid of and the noise of the two AC units was a bit much after a while. We were grateful for both AC units as they kept the humidity and temp down in a comfortable region. The Beach: 3 stars for the beach. We had seen pictures of the water coming up to the sandbags, but we didn't realize how long the water would be up. On Saturday morning we started out sitting on the beach by the condo at low tide, but the sand was wet, so we decided to walk south to where there was dry beach. In the late afternoon it was high tide, and we decided to head back to the condo. The path to the first set of steps was waist deep in water with waves crashing. We quickly ruled that out and found a way back to the condo using a public access point and the road. I will say, the view from the balcony is breathtaking!Overall: 3 stars. We really wanted to rate it higher but the smell and high tide made it just ok.

This quaint little condo was the perfect place for a small family’s vacation! The host was super communicative and really made this stay easy and enjoyable! We loved that it was beachfront with awesome balcony views from the condo. Very easy to get on and off the beach, just be sure to know when high tide comes in. Super relaxed laid back neighbors and atmosphere. There is even a small marketplace right across the street. Very nice stay all around!

The owners were super accommodating and replied immediately! They even got us in earlier then listed!! Condo was clean and fairly updated. I will say the bed was uncomfortable and bends to the middle and then the what seemed to be permanent sand bags were a bit of a shock, with no beach to relax on. The condo was a bit hard to keep cool. I think if those issues were solved, this would definitely be a five star!

It was perfect. Right on the beach. Host is very responsive. Unit has all you need for a weekend get away. Could not have asked for anything to be better!

Everything was excellent. Just the right size for us. Bed was a little firm, however. We would definitely stay again. Loved seeing the dolphins in the morning!

The condo was exactly as advertised! Our family enjoyed a perfect long weekend. The kitchen was very well stocked, the condo had everything we needed! The hosts were extremely communicative. We spent hours on the porch looking at the waves. We had plenty of beach during low tide and the beach was not packed at all.

This place is amazing — literally right on the ocean! It’s so relaxing and peaceful. The management is very nice and welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again!

Property was very nice and the property owners communicated well throughout our stay. The view of the ocean from the balcony was so pretty, location was nice and we truly enjoyed a few days of relaxation and a reset after a pretty stressful few months. Thank you Lisa and Matthew!

The day was good and the property owners are very accommodating and communicative. I accidentally left about 120 worth of liquor in the fridge so I hope the next group has a great time on me lol!

Our property did not disappoint. The property was clean and orderly. It was as advertised, lacking nothing. We so much enjoyed our stay that we WILL return.Money well spent.

Nice condo, right on the ocean, especially if you’re looking to just hang out on the beach and not have all the noise and traffic from restaurants, bars and novelty stores. Super clean with no signs of mold or bugs. Easy check-in and clearly defined expectations of their guests. Would stay here again.

It was an amazing place to stay right on the water, literally it looks like the ocean is right outside your back sliding door. The couch and bed are a little uncomfortable but we had an amazing time nonetheless. I'd highly recommend!
