Glacier Lodge is ideally located in the Upper Village along the main Blackcomb Benchland stroll. The Upper Village has its own shops, pubs, spas and restaurants just outside the door.

We are a short 7 minute scenic walk to the main Whistler Village with it's world class shopping and restaurants.

At Glacier Lodge you are comfortably away from the crowds and noise of the main village but never far from the action when you want to take part.

    Overall this place was good. It was great access to Blackcomb Gondola (5 minute walk) and the living room with the fireplace and 2 story windows was enjoyable after skiing. Hosts left a welcome package with appropriate gift for each family member which was appreciated. Check in was smooth and the details were great. The kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of towels for everyone too. Here are the things I would note: the washer and dryer is not in the unit. It is community and you have to pay for it. You also have to pay 25/day for parking -there is not a free option. While this place was nice it could use some updates (we couldn't get the in floor heating to work), the ceiling had cobwebs and some dishes, cutlery, and kitchen stuff was dirty when we arrived (not a huge deal because we always wash everything before we use it), and blinds on the upstaira rooms would have been nice. You get headlights all hours of the night street lights. The pool is being renovated so that is not available.

    The distribution of the spaces was not optimized, the rooms are extremely small, while the living room is huge. With that square footage, you should build bigger rooms. And still the living room would be big enough.

    this is a very nice place, however the DVD didn't work and the place needed some TLC. We loved the location and liked place overall, but it does need some work.

    We had a wonderful stay! The unit was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It is located a short walk from Blackcomb Gondola and some nice restaurants. The air-conditioning unit kept the main area comfortable, but we needed to run the fans in the bedrooms to stay cool. One member of our family found the fans a little loud. Nonetheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

    We love staying in the upper village this time of year. Chill atmosphere and enough restaurants just outside the door. Easy to get to the lifts.The bedrooms do have indoor windows open to the vaulted main room. So, you need to keep the lights low and noise down if you have kids going to bed early. Not a deal breaker but something to keep in mind. Note to the owners: It might help to add some drapes to the room with the twin beds.

    This unit was absolutely perfect for a family of four. Great living space with perfectly stocked kitchen. Location was ideal...directly in the upper village within a few steps of the Blackstone Gondola and a short (yet beautiful) walk to the other connected villages.The welcome binder must have been written by an engineer as every possible question was answered with clarity and detail!Underground parking below, washer/dryer across the hall, nice pool and hot tubs, and ski valet all added to the experience.

    The natural light from the soaring glass and the fireplace made the great room a much appreciated gathering place for morning coffee & après-ski. Jim & Marg have fitted their very well maintained & clean unit out with everything we needed and the arrival/unit instructions were a great help. The location was perfect for us. The Upper Village is quieter (which we wanted) but still only a short walk to Whistler Village. We rented and stored our skis from a shop in the same building, which was very convenient.To sum it up, a great unit at a world class ski resort!

    2 adults and their adult children (20 and 19) stayed here for 7 nights over the Christmas holiday week and it was a great trip. The listing describes the unit exactly and the size was perfect for our family of 4 with plenty of room to spread out and lounge. The unit was exceptionally clean, check in was easy and the owners provided excellent information on how everything operates (lights, heating, TV, etc.). There is no in-unit laundry, but the laundry room is literally across the hall from the unit, just outside the front door (you will need change for the machines, but the front desk will provide it). The only small hiccup (which I am only mentioning to let you know how quickly/efficiently the owners dealt with it as it was not a big deal) was that our daily pouch of coffee was not showing up. We messaged the owners about how to get it and in short order the owner showed up with a big bag of coffee AND a bottle of Prosecco for our troubles. Anyway, I would definitely stay here again without thinking about it. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Upper Village/Blackcomb which is ridiculously close to the Blackcomb gondola, don't hesitate to try out this place!

    Great location, perfect for our small family. The place was truly ski-in/ski-out with a very short walk to the Blackcomb Gondola. The kitchen was well-appointed and the united was very cozy and clean. Will likely book again when we make a return trip next year.

    The room itself was great and seemed to be well maintained for the most part. The buildings amenity spa/pool are in need of maintenance with tiles missing and duct tape in place of tile.

    We were in Whistler for a week long event and we had absolutely everything we needed in an ideal location. The suite is spacious, well-stocked, and very clean. This location can't be beat if you are skiing or biking on Blackcomb Mountain! We wouldn't hesitate to return.
