Beautiful Property on Bayou!

We were surprised by many aspects of our stay. This rental is perfect if you are hoping for a bed and breakfast experience on the bayou. Pros: delicious breakfast, beautiful property, friendly hosts, kayaks and a canoe available for paddling, nice pool with pretty views. Cons: We did not understand that we were staying in the same home as the hosts. We thought we were in a separate home on the property. We had ongoing interactions with the hosts throughout our stay, almost every time we left the rental. They were very friendly and attentive and seemed very nice, but we're used to a little more privacy when booking homes. There is a partition between the areas and a separate door for guests to get into their area. I also didn't understand from the listing that for 6 people the extra cost automatically added was for a breakfast, not for the 3rd room indicated on the pictures. Just passing on this information to help others avoid my confusion!Overall it was a good experience, and we did truly appreciate their hospitality.

Upon a arrival, the owner(?) was waiting in the driveway and came up to my car window. He then insisted on giving us a tour of the property and pool. During the tour, he revealed that he and his wife would also be staying there during our stay. He even asked us to commit to a time for breakfast the next morning. We were looking for a private getaway. If the listing had been forthcoming, we would have passed

The rooms were great, the hosts were friendly and accomodating, the breakfast was amazing, and the location on the bayou was beautiful and relaxing. I definitely hope to return one day!!

The property was great and Bryan/Robbie were excellent hosts. The home cooked breakfast and fresh coffee in the morning was awesome. The location was walkable to the Crawfish Festival which was prefer our weekend.

It truly is a beautiful property on the bayou and we wished we could have stayed longer. The hosts were amazing. Beds were comfortable. We have family in the area so we will definitely stay again.

Our hosts were great! Hospitable, informative about the area. The accommodations were lovely. We will highly recommend them to our friends and family and will definitely go back ourselves. Don’t let me forget the breakfast, it was better than anything I have ever had. ?

Very Charming cabin, decorated just like I would expect a Cajun cabin to look like. With beautiful Cajun artwork & decor thru out the whole cabin. Our hosts were amazing! Early in the morning overlooking the bayou the wildlife & the scenery was breathtaking. Will definitely book again!

We enjoyed our stay. Our hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and provided an amazing breakfast. Very convenient to the little big cup. Would definitely recommend to others. Thank you so much.

Robbie and Bryan were incredible hosts. They were really hospitable, made us feel right at home. They made us a great breakfast every day -- fresh baked scones, quiche, crawfish omelete (wow!). They gave us lots of privacy. They take huge pride of ownership in their property and keep it up really well. The pool was really nice, being right on the Bayou was incredible -- really beautiful spot. Amenities in the unit were all well stocked. No kitchen or living room in the unit we stayed in, the side unit, but there was fridge, microwave, coffee maker, filtered cold water. The master bedroom is really large so acted as a living room for us. We were there in July, it was very hot, air conditioning worked great. Just a great place, probably one of the best VRBO experiences we have had. Great hosts, highly recommend! Thanks Robbie and Bryan!

As others have said, pictures just don’t do it justice. Lovely grounds, pool and spaces to relax. Comfy and relaxing rooms. Clean and nicely appointed bathrooms. Bryan and Robbie are friendly and generous hosts. Do not miss breakfast on the veranda! Bryan’s out of sight country eggs or crawfish omelets and Robbie’s homemade scones are to die for.
