Beautiful Condo, good for familes, free wifi, near Ghirardelli Square

Excellent location and very homey and comfortable. Roof deck cannot be missed!! We felt like we were visiting friends and not staying in some sterile hotel. Look forward to coming backm

Location, location, location!! This condo was the perfect size and location for our family while on vacation with a ton of fun extras like the roof terrace overlooking the bay. We loved being directly between Ghirardelli Square and Francisco Park. Fantastic!!

Nice Condo; great location; very supportive responsive management. We never had any issues but it was clear that if there were problems they would be immediately addressed. Would definitely stay here again.

My adult daughters and I loved staying at this condo. The location had a wonderful view from the deck. It was also just one block from Ghirardelli Square and the bay. The kitchen had everything we needed and beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location just steps from Ghirardelli Square, easy walk to Fisherman’s Wharf. Rooftop access for sunrise/sunset and Alcatraz views. Family-friendly with a kitchen, updated bathroom near the bedrooms, and lots of games and books to keep you entertained. Check-in and checkout were very easy and took no time. The host was great about responding to any questions quickly and was very accommodating. We would love to stay here again.

This home was in the BEST location! There was a roof-top deck with an amazing view of Alcatraz Island, where we spent a decent amount of time, when we were actually in the home. Most of our time was spent exploring everything San Francisco had to offer, and it was a wonderful girl's trip! We were across the street from Ghirardelli Square, and so many attractions were within walking distance! We hired a private driver to take us to Sonoma one day to visit a couple of wineries, and another day for a few hours to give us a tour of the city! We packed a lot into a 6 night stay, and all of us said we will visit again! Our host was very sweet, and had great communication!

Stayed with partner and adult son and condo very spacious. Really nice location to be able to walk to water front and having the roof top deck for morning and evening views was great. Communication with Dede, the owner, was very good and easy.

Great communication with owner! The home is very clean and comfortable. It’s walkable to so many great restaurants and sights. We parked the car in a nearby parking garage and used Waymo to get around, which was a fun experience for us! I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. 5

The property was easy to find and its perfectly located by the Pacific in the heart of the City. Loves the convenience and the amenities. There is a high level of comfort and safety in the unit. The area is safe and lovely. We enjoyed hangout like the Buena Vista Irish coffee bar and Scoma’s both a must visit to enjoy these establishments.

What a pleasant and easy stay! We stayed five nights to visit San Francisco with our kids. The house has a second bedroom where each kid could use their own twin size bed. A bathroom downstairs and upstairs made getting ready easier. A Keurig with pods for morning coffee, and a roof deck to drink it while looking at the bay. Fully stocked kitchen, cozy living room, safe locked and well lit entrance.Dede was such an easy host to work with before, during and after our trip. Responses were very prompt and her instructions were detailed.Location is ideal next to Ghirardelli square, two blocks from the cable car turnaround. Plus an optional parking spot to use for a rental car only another couple of blocks. Highly recommend!

This property is located in the heart of numerous tourist destinations. It was enjoyable staying in an authentic San Francisco home while still being within walking distance or a short drive from everything we wanted to see and do. It is well-kept and met all our needs! Highly recommended.

We stayed here because it was a great location! It was walking distance to Fisherman’s Wharf, Lombard St, The Palace of Fine Arts and Ghirardelli’s Chocolates (great desserts!) among other sights. Close to a Trader Joe’s. Easy access to bus or trolleys. It had 2 bedrooms and could sleep 4 people. It had a large amount of space with a living room, dining room, kitchen & 2 bathrooms. The shared rooftop deck had killer views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge! The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill flew over the rooftop deck 2 days about 3:45pm each day. It’s worth hanging out on the deck to hopefully catch a glimpse of and hear them loudly squawk.It is walking distance to watch the Sea Lions at the pier. At the Transamerica Pyramid, there is a free exhibit The Vertical City, which displayed some models of the buildings designed by Lord Norman Foster, a world renowned architect. His company also designed the Millennium Tower in Tokyo and 30 St Mary Axe in London. Take a ride in a Waymo, a driverless car. Some tips about the place. The lower bathroom’s hot water is hot so only put it halfway between cold & warm to have a good shower. It has great water pressure.For the Keurig coffee maker, fill it with water, place a mug under it push the big button and wait as there is a slight delay before you gradually hear the water heating up and then it will start dispensing the coffee. Took us a bit to figure out.We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again!

Such a wonderful stay. Dede could not have been a better host. The location is phenomenal! This is one of the best VRBO we have ever experienced. We would go out of our way to stay here again.

What can I say, what a beautiful location, the townhouse was beautiful and so well cleaned and ready for us. Working with the owner was such a delightful experience. She was so easy to get a hold of and even waited for us to arrive. If you have a choice don’t hesitate to choose this location. So well worth the cost definitely staying here again.

Everything about the house and location are amazing. This is the place I would choose to live if I ever moved to SF. Dede is a very responsive and caring host of her property. I cannot say enough good about my experience.

We had a wonderful stay in Dede’s house. The house is really nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, the rooftop patio, and you just can’t beat the location! Dede was a great host. She communicated timely and clearly, met us at the house when we arrived, and gave us a personal tour of her home. I would highly recommend this house.

We had a nice stay here. The host was great. Very responsive. What bothered us though was the noise. There is construction going on next door. A large apartment complex is being built and the workers work from about 7am until 5pm and on Saturday. I wish this was disclosed in the description. Also the Ghirardelli tower is being renovated so it is cloaked and scaffolded. The view doesn't quite match the photo. Obviously the host is not responsible for this, but again, it would have been nice to have it disclosed. Location is great, but street noise is substantial It is a city after all, however I am a former San Francisco resident and some streets are noisier than others. On Friday night a motorcycle cavalcade of about 20 motorcyclists decided to pull up and linger and rev their engines for about 30 minutes. This was really disruptive to our rest. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again for these reasons.

This was a wonderful place. It was a very clean, up to date condo with more amenities than you’ll need. The rooftop was a great addition! Our family visited on a very busy weekend but the location made it so convenient (food and entertainment) that we never moved our car the entire time. Communication with the owner exceed our expectations. She was wonderfully helpful and completely accessible for any questions or concerns. We will definitely visit again!

This quirky house checked all the boxes for us. The only caution is that there is construction next door as well at Ghirardelli Square. If you are up early and out the door to see the sights, it is not an issue. I would stay here again.

We loved the location and the condo was perfect with a rooftop deck view that is unmatched! We’re an active family and really didn’t spend too much time at the condo but it’s a perfect place to stay with great location and proximity to everything we wanted to see and do.

We loved this place - it was so charming and we felt like residents of San Francisco. Easy communication (esp since my phone is a dumb phone and I can't reach the VRBO website for messages) via text....all the conveniences..just a wonderful stay! Thank-you Dede for sharing your place :-)

Dedes place is everything we could have hoped for. Comfortable, conveniently located, well stocked. The crazy weather didn’t allow for too much rooftop time but it’s a wonderful spot to relax after a long day of touring.
