Beachwalk Villa 12 - Easy Walk to Beach & Downtown Folly - Partial Ocean Views

Very nice for our Spring Break getaway. Very clean, very spacious for our family of 4. We've stayed in several VRBOs & this was the nicest by far. We did end up leaving our laundry detergent there, so maybe someone else can use it. It was unfortunate not to have any & I was surprised to not find a stove top tea kettle. Also, the road in front of the condo is very busy at all times. I was surprised to find this. I was expecting more of a laid back beach vibe. The price was great, as we were here in March, during the off-season. I did look at summer prices & it is about 4x as much, which I would probably not rate as good of a value.

Perfect place near the beach and little beach town.

Location is everything with this property. But beware on the weekends, Taco Boy next door, has loud music until 11 PM. The condo was clean and well stocked. You can walk to the beach in less than five minutes and be on Center Street in less than three minutes. One of the best features of this condo is the porch where you can view the beach and watch the activity on the street.The stained cushions are still around and need to be replaced. Otherwise we will be back in the future.

Nice clean unit! Close to ocean and restaurants were within walking distance! It was fun to watch all the pedestrians walk by from our deck. Kitchen was fully stocked.

The unit was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the location was perfect. We had a wonderful time.

We had the best time here visiting my brother while he plays baseball at college! The balcony was our favorite part being able to people watch and drink our coffee! The walk to the beach is less than five minutes-overall just a cute, fun area! We would definitely book again!

Location is fantastic! Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Balcony is amazing! Kitchen is nicely stocked. However, it was so filthy upon check in, we had to request another cleaning. The sheets were pilled and gross. The cleaning and changing of bedding was done quickly and with a quick reply from management! The beds are super uncomfy. The cushions on inside chairs are super stained and dirty. Both of these had been previously put in reviews, but we figured there had been changes since those reviews had been left, especially since the property manager had replied those things would be taken care of in reviews. Overall this place has lots of potential, but definitely needs updates and a good deep cleaning (including baseboards, walls, cushions, corners, etc). The mattresses certainly need replaced, as well.

Highly recommend this great place in Folly. The location was amazing and within walking distance of everything. Not having to deal with parking or traffic is a big benefit! The place is clean, well cared for, and beautiful. Booking, communications, check in/check out were all super easy. The one down side is that the unit has thin walls and ceiling. So, if anyone is staying upstairs or on either side, it can be quite loud. Not a criticism, just a tip for future travelers. Great place!

Excellent downtown location for Folly beach. Minutes to the beach and pier. Minutes from tons of different shops and restaurants.

This is a very comfortable place in a great location. Our stay was fantastic and we will be back!

We loved the location and the large living area. When we had an issue with the door code, it was resolved quickly. We enjoyed our time there very much!

This is the second time staying in this property. Short walk to everywhere on Folly. Everything was clean and well stocked. Our questions were answered promptly.

The location of this property is great - central to everything in Folly. It can be very noisy, however, so if you want peace and quiet this is not the place for you. There is a restaurant next door that plays loud music at night and there is a lot of foot traffic. We enjoyed it, but others may not. The walls are also very thin and you can sometimes hear people in the neighboring condos. Overall the condo was very clean (kitchen, bathrooms, etc), but we did feel there were some things that should be addressed, including the older furniture in the livingroom that had soiled cushions. Most of our party felt the beds were uncomfortable (very hard mattresses) and the pillows desperately need replacing. For the price, the bedding should be superior. The kitchen was adequately stocked and very clean. Bathrooms were also very clean, but we would have liked more than one hand towel. The deck is large and great for people watching and having 2 parking spots was very helpful. Check-in and check-out were also very simple. If you stay in one of the 2 rear bedrooms, there is zero light. The windows are covered with a permanent shade and drapes so you will definitely not wake up with the sunlight. Overall, we did think the pros outweighed the cons for this condo and would probably stay again.

As soon as we got to the condo we knew our trip was going to be exactly what we wanted. Check in instructions and check out instructions were easy and very clear. The condo had 2 parking spots and easy access to the unit. The pier/beach was a 1-2 minute walk. With a restaurant next door, the rest ofthe shops and eateries were a 1-10 minute walk we couldnt have asked for a better location especially since traffic and parking on a small vacation spot can be tricky.The condo was very clean, it smelled good and fresh like it had been aired out. The balcony was large enough for us all to enjoy it. This is probably going to be our go-to condo next time!

We travel to Folly Beach often and this was by far the best location we have stayed at. Close to everything and the condo was a lot bigger than we expected. Definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed being in walking distance to food and the beach. Renting chairs and an umbrella across the street was easy. Unit was clean and spacious. Enjoyed morning coffee and evening drinks out on the deck. Also enjoyed running Ashley and Arctic in the mornings. We would definitely come back!!

We had a great time! The condo is in the middle of the action. Everything was in walking distance. Of course we spent time in Charleston, which is an easy drive.Make sure you stop by Bert's!

Great location with easy access to the beach, pier, and restaurant. The home was decorated well and had plenty of room for two couples.

Our overall impression of the property was very good. Great location, comfortable furnishings, very clean. The only critique would be with bath towels. It would be nice to have a little higher quality and some extra towels. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

This is an old complex. Stayed on first floor. The noise level from people above was horrible. A couple with toddler running around and baby crying. Just walking around above us was very loud. Not their fault. It ruined the trip. Accommodations were spacious but could have used a good cleaning

Very nice location, nice set up, no complaints

Clean, spacious unit in a perfect location. Lots of fun in the middle of beach town action with great people-watching to go with it and close to the beach. Owner Fred was a pleasure to interact with. Only issue on downside is noise from unit above. Walls and ceiling tend toward the thin side and unit could benefit from noise-reduction structural retrofits. Still recommend though.
