Beachfront Getaway, Dolphin Suite,

Location was calm and still very fun! Having beach equipment to use at the ready was perfect for us to maximize our fun and cheaper than purchasing things or renting items just for the moment. Host was awesome and friendly every time we saw them. House was set up and had all those essential items we needed to cook and clean! 10/10 we will definitely be using this location again!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dolphin Suite. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved having access to all of the beach equipment and kayaks! It was super easy to just step out onto what is basically your private beach with only a handful of people ever in your line of sight. We were there with our two boys, 16 and 21, who especially enjoyed the kayaking and fishing. The icing on the cake was wishing Balou a happy 8th birthday! We would definitely come back to stay at this property in the future.

Check in was easy. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The kitchen was fully stocked for us to make meals. Plenty of bath and beach towels. Laundry detergent and washer/dryer are always helpful as I like to do laundry before returning home. Being right on the beach is always non-negotiable here when we visit so that was great. Only thing I missed is having a deck to overlook the ocean and the beds were nice but a tad too firm for me. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive which was very appreciated. Overall great stay. Plenty of beach toys, chairs, kayaks and paddle boards, boogie boards. Really nothing left to say but overall it was worth it!

the gym facility was nice for myself and my children- Amy and I loved the mattress we have already discussed the problem on the third floor- I would expect a quiet night's sleep-not received- recommend some sort of screening or check in procedure to ALL guests to ensure residents are applying to the rules

The house was great and had everything we needed!! I was expecting a bit more of a view from the house but other than that the house was wonderful. The location of the chairs and firepit is in the front next to the parking lot which was not expected rather than in the back.House was clean, hosts were great and friendly!

The home was immaculate, three bedroom perfect they have everything you need. The beds are very comfortable, No need to bring anything. Convenient to many restaurants, Virginia Beach, the Naval Base. I highly recommend only thing if there’s a rowdy crowd on the third floor ( we were on the second floor) it might be a little noisy. The noise does definitely transfer down.

The absolute best VRBO we have ever stayed! The house was stocked with anything we might have needed from laundry pods to phone chargers, towels, shampoo and conditioner, even coffee and creamer in the fully equipped kitchen! The beach view and easy access were amazing. The house was immaculate and has a very calm, relaxing feeling. I can’t say enough good things. We ran into some rainy weather and the host notified us while we were out to stay safe! 1000% would recommend! Our special request to meet the most handsome 4 legged host was the high-light of our trip. Such considerate hosts for our Showgirl is a Wife Weekend!

My family and I had a great stay. The house was comfortable, very clean and well-equipped. The proximity to the beach was very nice and convenient. We enjoyed all the beach equipment and the gym area. The hosts were very accommodating and communitive with our changing plans.

Everything was wonderful!

One of the best beach rentals we've ever rented. From the personal message welcoming us on the parking spot sign, to all the amenities, our stay was excellent. Everything you need is provided: toiletries, coffee, tea, fully stocked kitchen, complimentary snacks, and everything, I mean EVERYTHING, you need for the beach! The owener greeted us when we got there, and were quick and attentive to all our questions. Very clean and modern. Only con was we could hear every time the guests walked above us. Otherwise, we definitely recommend the Dolphin Suite!

We rented for a visit with our son at NAS Norfolk. This was the perfect place! Close to the base, on the beach, and great kitchen to cook meals and hang out. Thank you!!

We enjoyed our stay at Big Blue with the whole family. This was our pups first visit to the ocean. She loved it! The beach was peaceful....very few people. The house was comfortable and very clean. Thank you for everything!

The condo was really nice and clean and had so many extra touches by the owners. They literally thought of everything! They were also very accommodating allowing us to check in a little early which was great since we had our dog. The second floor where we were had a slightly obstructed view which you can see in the pics if you look closely but it didn’t bother us since you can look to either side unobstructed. I didn’t realize there was a top floor to rent as well even though it clearly says that in the description the mermaid suite probably has a little better view. The only thing I was wishing was an outdoor deck or patio to sit on to enjoy coffee in the mornings but you can easily go down and access the beach to do that. We did have a family with kids check in to the suite above us our last night and you could hear them running around But it was just here and there and couldn’t be helped. Just mentioning it for awareness for others. Overall it was a great stay and the place was very Very nice. Thank you,

Stayed for a long weekend for a family birthday get together. Communication with the hosts was flawless, always answered the messages via the app. The house was easy to get to in a nice neighborhood. The area was safe and quiet. The house was ready when we arrived and it was spotless. Everything was clean and in order. The kitchen is fully stocked and we found complimentary snacks and drinks waiting for us. The beach is just a few steps away and it was nice to take the dog for a walk along the water. The house is in a nice location, about 15 minutes to downtown Norfolk and a quick 30 minutes to Virginia Beach. Many things to do around the area. Private parking on the property was convenient. The property is spacious with three large bedrooms, plenty of beds, comfortable seating in the living room, fireplace and a view of the water. The TVs were good size and fully functional, HVAC kept the temperature comfortable. It was a truly enjoyable stay without a single complaint. We will definitely return to the Dolphin suite when we return to Norfolk.

The pictures are 100% the location but when you get there your expectations are exceeded. VERY spacious, cozy, and accommodating. Our Hosts were prompt in response and helpful. We even extended our stay one more night because the stay was so perfect! It was only my husband and I but we will be bringing our children back next time! Depending on what side of town you would like to frequent you are right in the middle - great location and stay!

We greatly enjoyed our stay in the Dolphin suite at the Beachfront Getaway! The condo is very spacious, equipped with all the basics, and convenient location for lots of sightseeing!! The beachfront access is perfect with beautiful sunrises/sunsets. The owners were reachable about accommodations and very welcoming to our stay.
