Beach-side, beautiful low-rise with uncrowded beach!

The beach is extremely well maintained, unlike other places we've stayed along 30 A. The grounds are very nice and provide the perfect place for family to enjoy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit had the cutest, beach decor. No cheesy beach signs in this place, but beautiful boho decor with a tasteful, nautical touch. The unit itself was older, but the bright white walls and decor made up for it. It was clean upon arrival, and we had plenty of towels/linens. The best part about Silver dunes is that the condo building itself is smaller than its neighboring condo towers, so we had PLENTY of space on the beach for our party of ten. We plan on going back!

Reviewer Comments: Pros: Very attractively decorated, good location for Silver Dunes in general, comfortabel beds, well equipped kitchen, adequate towels, washer and dryer, everything seemed clean, nice furnishing and closets, games availableCons: the TV was a REAL issue. There were not adequate and easily available instructions for the various remotes available. In order to watch college football, I think our son eventually joined Sling for a trial period. Someone eventually came to help but we had spent hours by that time. Outside grill does not work well. Tried steaks for a few minutes and then put them in the oven because they did not seem cooked at all. Door entry code did not work when we arrived but was quickly remedied when we call the management office. Dryer is outside on porch but still much better than nothing. This unit is an end unit which has its perks, ie quiet. But there was very little view. Bunk beds were loved by toddlers but were a bit shaky. I would be hesitant to have an adult sleep in them.

The carpet was heavily stained. The sliding doors would not open the whole item and the handles eventually broke off. Not to mention, the first night and the remaining stay, my family was eaten up by fleas. Inside the condo, there were several big cockroaches and outside surrounding areas had roaches crawling around. Maintenance, did little to take the dumpsters, which were constantly overfilled. While there is no smoking allowed in the units, it did not stop other guests from smoking marijuana, where other guests could inhale it. We called the front the desk and they did nothing to stop them. This place could use a major update/ paint job and cleaning, because it is disgusting, to say the least. I would not recommend this place to anybody.

The property was nice and very quiet considering we saw several other families there.

Great property! The patio door off the living room needs to be fixed (need to use both hands and a foot to open.it) and the carpeting can use an update or switch to vinyl flooring. Otherwise it was very comfortable condo. All the amenities were in great condition. Short walk to the beach and pool.

The only issue was we arrived at 4:15pm and rental was not ready. When we entered they were still cleaning! I understood we could check in at 4 and when I asked management they said it is anytime after 4pm. We waited until the gentleman was done and he still did not unload clean dishes from dishwasher! I think cleanliness was sacrificed because he knew we were waiting! However, we did have a great vacation and would consider staying here again as well as telling others about the property!
