Beach-side, beautiful low-rise with uncrowded beach!

One of the full size beds were broken,they did not have a large skillet for cooking, two of property’s three ice machines were broken all week; we had kids wake up up one night by knocking on our doors and windows. For $3800 a week I expect more from the property.

My only complaint is they planted palm trees in front of this particular condominium that completely block the view of the ocean from the deck.

I remember visiting as a kid and now I’m glad to share the experience with my family. I love how family friendly the condo is with the grassy area for everyone to play and the private beach. Also, I love the new family fun activities you provided this year (movie night, s’mores, pool party). The one thing I was disappointed about was the fact that we had a condo below us with a family who smoked and the smoke would blow up to our balcony so we could not enjoy sitting outside if they were smoking.

We have stayed in A 207 a few times in recent years. It has a great view! They replaced the den furniture several years ago. It looks great and is very comfortable. However, the unit does need to be updated. There are stains/holes on the carpet and tile, paint is chipping, and the bathroom and kitchen are in need of an update. However, you can't beat the beautiful beach or family feel of Silver Dunes!

We wanted to stay at Silver Dunes so we could check out the resort and a unit we had put a contract on. The room we stayed in was so out of date and needed repairs. It wasn't cleaned well and had garbage in the sink when we got there and the cleaners had left the garbage disposal clogged up and not working. The resort itself was in need of much repair. Rusted vents on decks, concrete all cracked around pool, needed painting and outside doors needed replacing. We withdrew the contract on the unit we were contemplating purchasing.

Our particular condo, A207 is located very centrally to the pool and beach. The condo could use a few updates, such as a new patio door and new carpet in the bedrooms.

Reviewer Comments: Our suite is cozy and perfect for our needs- 2 bathrooms & bedrooms, kitchen and very easy access to the beach and poolHowever we are only giving 4 stars because we had to go around the premises because we don’t know how to get in our suite .after office hours .. luckily there was a couple who told us the way things are done there.., First time guests should be told on how to be able to get the keys after office hours...Also took out a star for some minor repairs in our suite (toilet paper holder doesn’t work)
