Beach Front Condo at the Avalon Club

We really enjoyed our stay at The Avalon. It was definitely one of the cleanest properties we have stayed at. We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo looking out to the gulf. Everything was well stocked in the kitchen. Towels are available daily and you can ask for housekeeping service. I definitely would recommend to families because this place feels like your own home not a hotel! And unlike most hotels, we never heard any noise from the other units next to us. The property is very well maintained and the staff are very friendly! . We will stay here again!

The condo was very spacious and updated, and included a cordless vacuum for the sand trailed in from the beach. Coffee was available 24 hours a day at the 2nd-floor coffee bar, and the view from the 5th-floor pool bar and lounge area was amazing! Don't miss the complimentary champagne while watching the sunset! The location is a few blocks from the downtown tourist area. There are a few small cottages between the Avalon Club and the beach, but the walk to the beach is very short, and the view of the Gulf and sunset is beautiful. The Avalon Club provided beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels, which was a huge convenience. We would definitely stay here again when we return. Thank you for a great week!!

The rooms were clean. The staff was exceptional! Our rooms faced the beach as advertised. The sunsets were gorgeous from the rooftop bar and pool. Definitely would recommend this place to our friends!

We booked a 3bed/2.5bath unit and had the best time! We traveled with a toddler and extended family and the area had something for everyone. The Avalon Club made everything seamless from check-in, utilizing their beach amenities (towels, chairs, etc), and even housekeeping and maintenance. We had a slight problem with one of the bathtub stoppers not working correctly and it was fixed almost immediately. We also called down to borrow a broom for just some sand that had accumulated and they offered housekeeping to come up right away. We ended up finding a vacuum provided so we just did it ourselves! We will recommend the Avalon Club to anyone coming to Clearwater.

We were overall happy with our stay at The Avalon Club—clean, modern facilities and a great location. However, we were disappointed to find that the balcony view we expected based on the online photos was not accurate. Our view was mostly blocked by a house directly in front of us, and one of the photos used in their advertising turned out to be a stock image. When I brought this up and asked to be moved to a unit with the view we were promised, the request was never accommodated. That said, the staff was generally friendly, and it was a nice perk to have beach chairs and umbrellas readily available for guests.

The location was perfect for what we wanted for a girls weekend.

This property is a favorite of mine! Myself, husband, 2 daughters (ages 6 and 9), along with my mother had the most relaxing time here. The staff are always so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The views from this unit are exceptional with an enormous balcony spanning across the living room and master bedroom. We walked everywhere we needed to go during our stay but also rented a car and the parking here was easy and very convenient. Being able to sign out chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and other beach toys made our lives so easy traveling to and from the short walk to the beach. We cannot wait to come back!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The property is steps away from the ocean. They provide towels, chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The room was clean and updated. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. Will definitely come back and stay again!

The place was beautiful and the staff was so welcoming. Walking in and out we were able to chat and ask questions about the area. Common areas and lobby smelled great and very clean, loved the coffee and tea bar. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay by the beach!

Location was easily accessible to beach and downtown nightlife, within walking distance. Condo had accessible beach chairs and umbrellas with just a few steps to water! Staff was friendly and assisted us promptly with every need. Was even able to do laundry, without paying or needing detergent, before leaving so didn't have to do it when returning home! Picture of layout and the room we actually got were different, but can't complain at all.

It was a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Avalon was a fantastic host with ease of checkin/out, amenities and perfect location. Highly recommended!

We stayed here the beginning of June with an ocean view and deck. The views were amazing, and even more special right on the beach which is a brief walk outside and down to the water. The equivalent of one-city block distance. They have complementary beach umbrellas, beach chairs, and beach towels that you can easily sign out at the desk and carry down to the beach. The beach is open 24/7. There’s no glass or alcohol permitted on the beach, people were drinking, but they just had it in an insulated cup where you couldn’t tell what they had. The beach is huge and seems to go on forever in both directions. There were a lot of people, but it never felt super crowded at all. It was perfect and a lot of fun. There is a small parking lot and a couple of small houses between the Avalon and the beach, which were not evident in the pictures I saw before staying there, but it really didn’t have any impact on our view or our stay. The tap water in Clearwater is not very good anywhere, so the hotel coffee did not taste very good. They have K-cup coffee makers in each room and when I use bottled water to make coffee it tasted good. There’s also a coffee shop a short five minute walk away (Caffeinated Bakery) that has good coffee. There’s also a cute ‘dive-bar’ type atmosphere called Reefer’s on the same block with good drinks and friendly staff. Nearby walking distance food with great views of the ocean include Frenchy’s Rockaway Grill, and the Palm Pavillion Beachside Grill.

Fantastic short weekend! Great service offers beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels great for individuals flying in!

Location was great. Beach was not overcrowded. Easy walk to pier. Condo very clean and had everything we needed. Staff was very helpful and supplied all that we needed. Thanks for the great experience.

Wonderful place to stay! Very clean, perfect location to walk to the beach, restaurants, stores, piere 60. They had everything we needed for the beach & pool. Staff was always helpful. Nice park right across the street for kids. 3 bedroom was very specious for a family of 7 with a great balcony. Our own laundry room was perfect so we went home with no laundry to do. Kitchen had everything you need but i would just say there really needs to be updated frying pans (awful to cook with) We would definitely stay again!

The condo was very clean and spacious. However the listing of being beach front is inaccurate. Whether staying on the top flora or lower floors there are 2 houses in front of it. Very disappointed.

Property is great. Very convenient to everything. The only complaint was this units bedroom configuration. 3 bedrooms together, instead of 1 on one side of the gathering room, and 2 on the other. And the pillows were horrible. Hard as a rock.

The Avalon Club was the perfect combo of a VRBO & a hotel. Very spacious, staff was friendly!

Images of the view from the property are totally misleading. The sea view is obliterated by two buildings and telephone wires. It is certainly not beachfront. But the beach and the staff are super.

Friendly staff and clean condo. Bar tenders Sarah And Adrienne were great to talk to and gave us some great places to dine at.

Highly recommend the Avalon for its location, cleanliness, amenities and comfortable condos. This multi-room suite accommodated my family and we enjoyed having breakfast in the living room/kitchen overlooking the water. The hotel is conveniently located near the beach, restaurants, shops, a playground and pickleball courts. The Avalon's pool area was very nice with great views of the beach.

The Avalon is the only place I will stay

Location was nice, note that this is not directly on the beach there is a short walk. The unit could use a new and larger couch considering how many people the unit accommodates. The rug in the living room was dirty. The walls are not very sound proof and was noisy at night in the hallway. The pool is rather small and only holds 17 people max. Pro: Spacious and easy parking.

This rental property was incredibly spacious, impeccably clean with stunning views of the ocean throughout. Super close to shops and restaurants. Kitchen was well stocked with a variety of utensils, pots, etc. for cooking. We will definitely be back!

Property and location was great! Walking distance to all the restaurants and anything you would want to do. Beach was gorgeous. Great views. Only complaint was that when we arrived the heat was not on and the room was 54 degrees and took a good 24 hours to heat up into the 60s. Other than that, we had a great stay!

All of the employees that we interacted with were super friendly and helpful: front desk, housekeeper, bartender. It was very convenient that we could contact the front desk with a text message. We also enjoyed the convenience of having a key code for the door rather than a card.

This property was a great location for our Family. It was easy to get in and out of the parking lot. The beach was steps away. The three bedroom unit slept our Family of 7 comfortably.

The building is close to the beach. The location is great. The rooms are big and comfortable.

My family did a quick trip to Clearwater Beach over Christmas. We had a great time and definitely would stay at the Avalon Club again. Highlights included location in relation to the beach, staff and cleanliness.

This was an incredible location and stay with the Avalon. The staff was so kind and we were so happy with our room. If we had any questions, they were only a text away. We will definitely be back for our next Clearwater vacation.

First, the staff at the Avalon was amazing! We are a family of six and stayed in a 3 bedroom Gulf view suite. There was plenty of room for us. The kitchen was spacious and was stocked with the basics. We did a lot of cooking so had to purchase a few extra things the kitchen wasn't stocked with. We were on the 4th floor and had a clear view of the Gulf.

With four of us it was too much for one hotel room and a stand alone condo has no services. The Avalon was spacious and had a helpful front desk, towels service, beach chairs, etc.

My family and I were very pleased with everything about The Avalon Club. The staff were friendly, the building was always clean, our suite was so beautiful. I will definitely recommend this place to all my family and friends.

Property is just as described. Check in was easy and Cheyenne gave us all the information we needed, staff followed up by text and were available that way (or at the desk) throughout. Every employee we encountered was super nice. Unit was really clean, plenty of space to spread out and in the fridge, cabinets, etc... Beds were comfortable, couch was less so, but I assume it may have been a fold out and those only get so comfortable for sitting. Unit had good wifi and unit had roku devices on all the tvs so we could log in to our accounts. Loved the ability to check out towels, chairs, & umbrellas and carry them to the beach. We could walk out/in of the unit with a cooler only in our hands - it made beach trips much simpler. Loved having a less-crowded beach area. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, etc... Uber pickup was easy for further distances. We loved sitting on the balcony. Tropical Storm Debby passed through during our stay, but the condo has backup generators and we had no issues - just sat and watched the storm through our windows. We were in 309, which has the sliding door to the balcony facing the ocean and also windows to the north in the main living area. The two larger bedrooms had windows facing the ocean as well. The roof of the neighboring house reached just below the unit. I thought it would interrupt the view and bother me, but it really didn't. We'd return to the Avalon (and same unit) in a heartbeat - and are looking forward to it!
