Stayed Aug 16, 2025Location. Location. Location. You have beach access to the left and to the right and Matunuck Oyster Bar right up the street. Sit on the front porch and listen to the ocean!Even with hurricane Erin looking during our stay, Blue Heron offered every creature comfort one would need!Thanks again!

Stayed Jun 14, 2025The home is perfect for a family stay at the beach. We enjoy that the beach is just a quick walk across the street. The outside shower is so handy to get the sand off. The home is stocked and has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped to make meals throughout the day and extra space to store your snacks. Easy drive to local restaurants. Mary and Ed are amazing hosts, very accommodating and availabile for any questions or concerns. You won't regret your stay here!

Stayed Jun 13, 2024Ed and Mary are beyond the most kind, gracious and helpful hosts you'll ever meet. Not only are their properties gorgeous, clean and stocked, they are just as described. We had an issue with one of the AC units and Ed did not hesitate to come over and check it out and replace the batteries in the remote. They were so kind to our kids (6&4). They gave us great information on Block Island. Communication was quick and clear and always willing to help if anything came up. So if you are looking for a property close to the beach quiet and dream hosts. Ed and Mary have the property for you.
