Great communication and wonderful place

I came to Clearwater to study with an Ayurvedic mentor at the wellness spa and needed a place nearby. I was happy with the proximity and was advised by a colleague to rent a car, which definitely helped manage the busy roads and intense heat. The condo at Avalon provided everything I needed with protection form the heat, great cooling system, a pool to enjoy, quiet, a full kitchen, making cooking my meals easy. I would recommend this anytime for a modern efficiency condo

Only problem we had was getting into the parking area, (gated) and finding the condo. Next time I will make sure the info is emailed through the owner rather than depend on Vrbo to email us the info, which I did not receive.With that said, the place was very nice, and I would not hesitate to stay there again.It was a nice that the owner supplied beach chairs and a mini cooler. One thing that would set it over the top is a folding beach cart to make it easier to bring stuff to the beach, but no big deal. The owner was very helpful when we had some problems with the gate code and unlocking the door remotely when we forgot to return our key. They were very responsive, and we never had to wait for them to respond.Overall a great experience once we got settled in the areaDavid

Enjoyed our stay and its location

We went down to Clearwater for 20 days to get away from the New England winter and visit with our son who lives in Tampa. This condo looked beautiful and had a heated pool so sounded perfect. We enjoyed our stay very much. Any issues Elena helped immediately even with a booking mistake on my part she was able to help us with. We would definitely stay here again.Thank you again Elena.

Beautiful, very clean, comfortable and well appointed unit. We have stayed in many vacation rentals, and this one would be at the top of our list. Owners were very responsive and friendly. They certainly have created the ideal vacation rental.

Condo was exactly as pictured. Was clean and everything went just as it should. Condo is in a great location for quick access to beaches, Clearwater, and Tampa. The Avalon complex is very nice and well maintained. Pool is fabulous. Heater was out the week we were there but, while not a direct result of the recent hurricane, it not being fixed quickly was understandable given the amount of damage the area sustained. There were a lot of pools in the area that were damaged. Would not hesitate to stay in this condo again. Would suggest two fixes but neither of these are significant issues that would keep us from renting again. 1) dryer timer doesn't work. Won't shutoff in either auto or timed modes. First load ran through on auto ran for hours. Tried the timed dry function but that didn't work either. Made sure we checked after 1 hour and timer hadn't moved. 2) Deck blinds are missing 1/2 of the blades. Not likely that someone can see in, but it would be nice to have privacy of complete set of blinds.

Another great stay at the complex. This is our 4th year in a row and it did not disappoint. This unit was in a great location steps to the pool, parking lot and gym. Close to shopping, restaurants and short drive to the beach. Will be booking again for next year :)

This condo is just as advertised and was perfect for our needs. It is close enough to Tampa and the beaches but just far enough from the fray. Elena and Erwin were very communicative and a pleasure to deal with!
