Amazing Pool/Oceanfront Views from this Second Floor Condo at Amelia by the Sea!

Clean, quiet, great area.

Nice quiet and clean condo with gated parking. Located on the 2nd floor and across from the Surf Restaurant. The condo is also located on the end near Fort Clinch.

Beach view was perfect and unobstructed; condo was convenient to everything; very spacious; both bedrooms basically had en-suite bathrooms. Balcony was very spacious and beds were very comfortable. One suggestion would be to have a few more wine glasses/cocktail type glasses but we had everything we needed for 2 people.

This condo was wonderful. The pictures were exactly what you got. The view from the balcony was amazing. Could watch the sunrise every morning from the balcony. The beds were very comfy. The beach was wonderful and easy to get to. There were several restaurants and places nearby to dine & places to shop for groceries. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning.

Everything was wonderful with comfy beds and common area. The beach gear available was put to good use. Early March meant chili nights and mornings, but we still got our sunburns thanks to the warm sunny afternoons. Access to the beach and pool was great. Lots of eating options in the area. The place across the street was subpar food but sliders further up the road was amazing.

Our host Amy was very quick to respond to any questions we had. My husband loved the sound and view of the ocean from our balcony. We had everything we needed for our comfort. It was also nice to have an elevator to our second floor.

Yes, the host was very accessible. The dishwasher didn’t work and some of the outlets were not “grounded” ones. Sparks flew out when plugging some things in. The price was very reasonable

We loved our stay! We have a handicapped son who is wheelchair bound, and the accommodations to the beach were perfect. Ramps the whole way. The place was clean and furniture and beds comfortable. It is our plan to return in the future.

The condo was clean and beautiful. The view was amazing. The check in and check out process was seamless. The host supplied everything we needed to include beach chairs and beach towels. We will 100 percent be booking again.

Beautiful condo. We had sunrise and sunset all around us. Very meditative. Such wonderful memories Close to God!

Perfect spot and accommodations for us.

The property was as advertised and clean. Several items to note are the refrigerator might be a little small for a larger group and it doesn’t have an ice maker. Also, the washer/dryer combo unit worked but does take a long time to complete a full cycle. But, overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning.

Clean, lovely condo with beautiful views of the ocean and quick access to beach for walks/swim. There were many choices for good food, places to visit and/or shopping with a short drive. We really enjoyed our stay! Fernandina is a very charming town with great entertainment.

We had family and friends staying in four different units at Amelia by the Sea during the same time frame. For all of us, being right on the beach and having a pool is a must for a family vacation in Florida, so we loved this place (though we really wished the pool was heated)! Most of our units were great and we would happily stay in them again (in fact, we have already booked for next year). However, this unit (215) would need some updates if we were to consider it as an option again. The main issue is the washer/dryer. It is a single machine that you put the clothes in and it washes and then dries them in the same machine. Unfortunately, there was something wrong with this machine and/or how it is plumbed (it drains into the bathroom sink/drain). The first time we used it, the sink filled up with water and then overflowed onto the floor. This was on a Sunday so, understandably, we had to wait until Monday for a plumber to come and unclog the drain. It seems that this washer/dryer/plumbing setup is inherently problematic, or at minimum inconvenient as it took an unbelievable amount of time to complete one regular-sized load of laundry (8+ hours), and the bathroom sink and shower still drained slowly and would have overflowed again if someone had used the water in the bathroom while a load of clothes was washing. In addition, the master bed was very uncomfortable. The condo would be great with some furnishing and lighting updates. Otherwise, we were happy with our stay!

What a wonderful first beach trip with our precious granddaughters and daughter-in-love! The view was AMAZING and access to the pier was so much fun! The pool is shaded in the late afternoon which was perfect after a day on the beach!

The location was absolutely perfect! The newly renovated pool was wonderful. The condo Decor was adorable. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. I do suggest some work on the bathroom ceiling – some of the tiles were hanging. The washer would also back up water into the master sink and leave sand. However, this did not interfere with our long weekend stay. Overall, we would stay here again.
