Stayed Oct 6, 2022My family and I had a great time in 212 and we've stayed more than once. Easy to unload the vehicle and pack when we departed. Large balcony with a view. We recommend it to anyone.

Stayed Apr 29, 2021This is a beautiful property...the common areas are fabulously maintained and the pool area/central courtyard landscaping design is one of the most attractive and effective (at interrupting views between balconies) without obliterating the ocean view. The complex wasn't nearly full, so everything was very quiet except for conversations and expected (and very reasonable) pool noise. Kids playing happily is like music and more people should appreciate it. Our unit was beautifully furnished, decorated and quite spacious. I believe the unit was listed with 2 en suites, which isn't true. One bedroom has a VERY small en suite bathroom which did not seem to include an exhaust fan or toilet paper holder. Our guests wound up with wet tp from sitting the roll on the vanity. The only other place was on the toilet tank, and I think this is a very small item which would make a big difference. The other bathroom was off the hall, which decreased privacy, but was very spacious and clean. We LOVED the large balcony. and spent many happy mornings and evenings there. The only real issue we faced was that the gate key code wasn't included in any advance correspondence, nor did I see any instructions on what to do upon arrival. There was no guard in the booth so after searching for instructions, I began dialing the emergency security number. Fortunately the guard returned from his regular rounds at that moment, so it was a non-issue but 4 weary travelers (one of which was a grouchy husband) had a few minutes of panic. Perhaps you could include something worded similarly to this: Upon arrival, you will be give the key code to the complex gate. Please stop at the guard booth and the guard will assist you. If no one is in the booth, please be patient as our security guards make regular rounds. This ensures your safety, but unfortunately causes short waits sometimes. If no one returns in 10 minutes, please call the number posted to speak with an off site security representative. Overall, everything was wonderful and I would definitely return but until then I'll recommend The Aegean to anyone traveling to Destin. Thank you and your firm for your excellent property management, to the owners for sharing and to the staff for making sure everything is beautiful, clean and in good repair.

Stayed Jun 13, 2020The only issue was wi if not working in the master bedroom. Unit wasn’t clean when we arrived, but the cleaners who came the next day did a good job. This is a comfortable place for families.
