Kitchen appliances were low quality and flimsy. Other than 2 coffee packs, there wasn’t anything else stocked so you had to buy everything. (There was not even salt and pepper, cooking spray, dish soap or hand soap, tin foil, etc)Only 1 garbage bag is given, so you needed to go buy those as well. The kitchen garbage bin was tiny, so it would fill up fast. When a larger bag was used and set on the floor, the mice ate through it and made a huge mess. When told the front desk about the mice they didn’t seem surprised and said “thanks for letting us know”. You are only allocated 2 beach chairs a day and you have to rent more. When paying for 8 people to a unit, that was gouging. They had an attendant on the beach to make sure you didn’t use more than 2 chairs, even when there weee many not in use. This was not worth the $$ for a 3 night stay.

The building is worn for sure, but the beach is the thing. We love this condo and the space for the family to spread out. Last year we asked for some updates, and this year we saw that was not honored. We will ask again. The mattresses NEED TO BE REPLACED. They roll to the center and are worn out. Just like last year, the floors were not very clean, and our feet were black when walking barefoot. PLEASE MOP THE FLOORS AND CLEAN THE FLOOR GROUT. The lamp in the master still DOES NOT WORK. Replace the lamps. But my over-arching review is we WILL keep returning to this condo and we WILL recommend it to friends. We just ask for a little loyalty to the customers in return for our loyalty. Please replace the mattresses and do a better job of cleaning the floors and checking on lamps, etc. We cannot read in bed in the master bedroom. We bought another lamp at Walmart and brought it in. One of the lamps upstairs also has no place to plug it in, so you cannot read in bed there either. All of the lightbulbs are dim and not good for reading in bed.

Check in was easy. Everything was clean and nice. We had plenty of room for our girls getaway! The view of the beach was great! And very important, the air conditioning worked!! Sad we had to leave a day early due to Hurricane Ida traveling but we enjoyed our stay there!

This was our first trip to Coral Reef Club. We normally vacation in Gulf Shores but our normal condo had damage from hurricane Sally. The condo was very charmingly decorated and was well maintained. The building itself was a lot older than where we usually stay but was nice and clean. The 2 complaints I have are: 1. We called earlier in the day to ask the staff if we would be notified when our unit was ready. The girl told me they were cleaning it then which was 11AM. No call...At 2PM we called again and was informed they had just finished installing a new dishwasher and she would check on the unit and call me right back. No call... At 3:30 we asked again and were told it had been ready for an hour. No one ever called us. I would give the front desk staff 2*. They were very friendly but did not follow up. 2. The walls between units are paper-thin (at least upstairs). We could hear every word our neighbors said at night even though they were not loud. I gave the unit 4* since the condo was very pretty and well maintained.

All went well, rooms were nice, beach was great, fun was had..
