Overall was a great stay. Was just as described. Was a great price and plenty of room. The balcony was great. The beds really could use an update especially the King in the master bedroom. Wasn’t a deal breaker and still give it 5 stars. The bed is very firm and the frame is squeaky. The property manager was great. Didn’t have a lot of towels and they immediately offered to bring more over. Living room was a little out dated but once again for the price it was good. It was all extremely clean. The air conditioner was fantastic. Definitely kept up with the extreme heat. Stayed nice and cool. Loved having two bathrooms! The upstairs neighbors were so friendly!
Property was clean and spacious, perfect for a group or family of 5-7 persons! Perfectly located for the beach and restaurants, will definitely rent from them again.
This was a pleasant surprise. The location was great with a very short walk across the street to the beatiful white sand beach and emerald water. Also the sunset view on the water from the balcony and the large living room window was phenomenal. The condo was extremely clean with no mold or mildew or other funny smells. The appliances were nice. The overall feel of the condo was very refreshing. The only complaint i have is the mattresses on the beds really need to be upgraded. I know thats an expensive prospect for the property owner but it is the single most significant change that should be made. They arent horrible and when you're tired really anything will do, but if you are sensitive to mattress comfort just take that into account. One final note i would like to make is the entire area was poorly landscape engineered when it was built. What i mean is that there are no ditches, culverts or any water drainage capability on that whole end of the island. So when it rains everything floods. The entire grassy area along with the roads and sidewalks were all under water the whole time we were there. It would be an enormous cost to fix the problem and its not the condo owner's fault. Just be aware that if it storms while you are there you will need to navigate some flooded areas. Not a deal breaker in my opinion though. Although as storms continue to get worse with climate change the city and property owners may need to consider what it would take to fix.
We loved the location of this property and being able to access the gulf and the sound. The unit was very clean and the grounds were perfectly maintained. We would 100% stay here again. The only negative was that some of the furniture could be better arranged. Also, there were a lot of random items stored in the closets that was odd to me.
This is our second time staying at this condo. And would stay there again.
Very nice property and comfortable. My only complaint is there where very few bath towels. Other than that it was perfect.
Beds need new mattresses. Not very comfortable.
Great family fun
Location was spectacular and served as a great spot for a weekend getaway with friends. Nearby beach access was just far enough down from the main pier that it wasn’t overly crowded. Plenty of space for multiple adults to spread out to sleep. Would stay again :)
First of all, our family enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed a condo instead of a hotel; the location is okay. The property is dated and shabby but adequate for our needs. However, the beds were so uncomfortable that I left a day early. All of the beds in the condo were uncomfortable; this was the main topic of conversation. One of the most essential parts of offering a condo for rent is to provide a good bed. Good pillows and proper sheets would be helpful. Still, little else can be done to correct the situation when the mattresses are bad. The kitchen is adequately stocked with pots and pans. There is a ragtag collection of plates and utensils, but basic needs are met. The ice maker does not work, so putting some ice trays in would be helpful. Also, having better wine glasses would be great. Decent wine glasses are not that expensive. The main living space is roomy enough for 6 adults and has a nice view of the bay. The furniture is dated and worn but functional. Having a game chest was nice but needs to be cleaned out and organized. My college kid was entertained by the fact that there was an old vcr in the shelves. Most of the other issues could be rectified by the owner spending a good week in the condo making repairs and cleaning up their stuff. The washer/dryer area has lots of junk on the shelves, giving the space a dirty feel. The accordion doors do not close, and the track on which they slide does not work. The closets are full of random things, old sheets, old mats, and pillows. Creating one owner's closet to store these items would make the remainder of the condo much more helpful and appealing to customers. The furniture in the master room does not fit, so it is hard to reach any of the electrical outlets to charge phones, etc. The huge tv in the master bedroom takes up the space on the entire dresser so that there is no place for the paying guest to put their things. If a TV is a needed commodity in a rental home, it should be wall-mounted. An overhead light would be helpful. The lamp on one side of the bed is broken and must be propped up to keep it from falling over. The front bedroom would benefit from a ceiling fan as this room is quite a bit warmer than the remainder of the condo. The porches could be very nice, but they had old, dirty mats piled out there, and the furniture on the porch was not very inviting. We just used the area for applying sunscreen.
