3 Bedroom Condo in Ocean Dunes steps to Rec Center

It was very peaceful and charming. Meet the needs for my handicap husband.

We had a family of 8 including my wife and me, our son and his wife and four children. The outdoor and indoor pools were a real hit with the kids, and the short distance to the ocean made it very easy to come and go with the kids! A great place for a family!

This condo/apartment was perfect for our family. We had 2 three yr olds and my 85 yrs young mother. There was plenty of room. I was thankful there was an elevator for my Mom and for bringing luggage up to the apartment. The bedding was comfortable plenty of dishes and cooking supplies. It was so nice to be able to walk across to the beach or swim in the two pools on site. The kids loved the new play area, it was clean and away from traffic so we could really relax and let them play.I would definitely recommend Ocean Dunes and the apartment.

This condo is great for families -- lots of activities for kids. Condo was large and comfortable for our group of 3 adults and 3 children

We enjoyed the location of the property and the pool at the recreation center, which was larger than expected. The Southport Ferry, Civil War Museum, and aquarium were conveniently close. We had 4 teens and 4 adults, so we cooked most nights and found the kitchen to be sorely lacking in pans, including half of a cookie sheet and no large pot (for pasta). The can opener needs to be replaced. It was nice to have a crock pot. The driver kept popping open, and since we had one towel per person (brought our own beach towels) we had difficulty drying the towels and had to do them one at a time. Overall, it was a fun trip, and we were comfortable.

We had a really nice time on our visit! Check in was smooth and the condo was 100% as described! It's very clean and comfortable enough for our family of 4. The rooms are a bit small, so I wouldn't do more than 5-6 people here even though it could sleep more technically. For what we paid (this was a very affordable option), we felt like the value was right. As is written in other reviews, beach access is across the street, but not too bad. There were rinse off stations both at the beach access and near the pool, which was helpful (a lot of other beach access spots up and down the road did not have this). We didn't love the immediately accessible beach however - rather finding it pretty rocky and small. We decided to find other public beach access spots that were larger with softer sand for the majority of our stay. We spent some time at the outdoor pool (which couldn't be any closer to the condo) and the indoor pool, a short walk. We found both to be clean and comfortable. Other visitors in and around the complex were respectful and kind.

Great place to stay. Enjoyed being across the street from the beach access and great pool right outside the door. Would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was very nice and the facilities were great. Would recommend to anyone wanting a nice relaxing vacation.

We loved the Ocean Dunes neighborhood. Very quiet and family oriented. Our condo was clean and well equipped. We would definitely stay there again. Pool was very close to our unit and the beach was a very short walk across the street. This was our first time vacationing in that area and we loved it.

This condo is in a perfect location, a short walk across the road to the public beach access and even closer to the pool in the complex. Checkin was so quick and easy - appreciated when you’re anxious to get your vacation started. Everything about the accommodations were great - a few more essentials ( basic spices, dish soap, dishwasher pods, for example) would have made it perfect. I think the best thing I can say about this condo is that I want to come back again. I loved it!

Even though it was April my nine year old son was in all three bodies of water. The property was perfect. We have enough beds and bath and space for five. We would definitely say again.
