2nd-floor Sunspot condo steps from beach with balcony, outdoor shower, W/D, & AC

Condo is outdated, however the location makes up for it. Perfect location for restaurants, bars, and beach access. I loved the layout of the condo too. Will stay again!

The picture of the proximity of the beach from the porch was not accurate at all. Also the dates you have here are not correct it was 10/2-10/5

The rooms were clean and the towels were ample! Nice that the beds were already made since my other friends who rented in Dewey had to make their own beds. No view of ocean but it was right there so no matter.

As many of the other reviewers stated, the location was amazing. Literally a few steps to a beautiful beach entrance. We were prepared for the condo to be a bit outdated. Unfortunately, we weren't prepared for the water damage in the master bedroom, the mold on the patio walls and ceiling, and the mold in the bathrooms. The vents were packed with dust and the couch was more than a bit gross. Thankfully there were extra linens we used as a cover to sit comfortably. The carpet in the living room was also stained and is in need of replacement. The other major issue was the sight lines into the condo from outside. The owners tried to remedy this with a mirror film, but unfortunately put it on backwards on the kitchen door so anyone walking down the stairs have a full view of the condo. The kitchen was clean, however I wasn't comfortable cooking with the pots and pans that were available. We loved having a washer and dryer, but the door to that closet was off the hinges. There was confusion with our late check out, but was quickly and easily fixed by the management company. I'm not sure we would stay in this condo again, but would 100% stay in the complex. Of course, the affordability of this unit helped to accomidate for some of the downfalls. In my opinion, the water damage and mold should be mandatory to fix before more people rent it.

Very nice property. Not exactly oceanfront view, however. Steps from the beach. Plenty of towels and other amenities.

Just an hour after checking out, I realized I left items in the dryer. I immediately texted to let them know. I continued to communicate over the course of the next few days and it resulted in nothing. No help. I even drove back to the property hoping to see cleaning staff or someone who could help. I saw no one. You’ll never see anyone. If you need help, good luck.It was over 100 worth of clothes, and my autistic son’s favorite things to wear. I did everything I could to get it all back and never received help. It’s crazy.I was traveling alone with two small kids. I was bound to forget something. I only needed a tiny bit of assistance. So sad it wasn’t possible.

Had a good time and enjoyed the place. the code for the door was hard operate, would have easier with a key. The linens were clean and fresh. The outlet at the bathroom sink doesn't work in one bathroom and lightbulbs were out in the other

The property is in a fantastic location—just steps from the beach, which made everything super convenient. The price was very fair given the prime location, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The only minor downside was the sofa bed, which felt a bit worn and could use an update. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend it!

Best location ever! Super close to the beach, literally steps away! Walking distance to downtown, and if you go on July 4, you can stand in the road and watch the fireworks right out your doorstep. Condo needs a full redo with mattress included. Furniture is old and stained.

This condo was good for our 5-person friends weekend. The proximity to the beach is unmatched and it felt very safe for all 5 women. However, all 4 beds were extremely springy/uncomfortable, there were only two total rolls of TP provided, a singular trash bag, no beach chairs (although this wasn’t advertised in the listing, just a nice-to-have), not a full set of silverware (only one butter knife) and the shown beachfront view is NOT correct for this unit — the balcony overlooks the parking lot, not the beach. Overall, would recommend for the beach proximity.

Perfect location, great off season price, even during Sea Witch festival. Amazing views. Loved having front and back door, but back door need a curtain. The mattresses were not great but the living room furniture was very comfy, out dated, but comfy. We love Dewey and will keep this on our list!

Had a 2 night stay in this 2nd floor condo. Best part is the proximity to the beach! Now the negatives- The condo itself needs major updating. The furniture in the living room is old with broken springs apparent. Carpets are stained and old. Kitchen was fine except there were ants on the counter - so we ended up keeping all our food in the refrigerator. Knew this was not a new problem since ant traps were behind the coffee pot. Biggest issue (and why I didn’t give higher rating for cleanliness) was black mold in the shower cracks. Also ceiling panels in bath are broken and need replacing. Deck was fine for our needs- except the screen door at the sliding glass door works hard and off the track probably from salt air and sand in the track. We ended up using the glass door to go in and out. This condo was just ok for a stay; would not want to stay for longer. due to ants and condition of living room. Beds were just Ok. Could feel the springs so were not very comfortable.

We loved that we were able to take steps to get to the beach while still being able to just walk up the road to get coffee and bagels! We love Dewey and enjoyed staying at yet another wonderful property in this town! Management checked in with us as soon as we got there to ensure everything was perfect for our stay. We let them know that there were dishes left in the sink with towels and they were apologetic immediately!

The location of this property is fantastic for spending your days enjoying the beach and surrounding area. Close to many great restaurants and places to shop for clothes and souvenirs. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning.
