We LOVED the magnolia house!!! The community is quiet, laid back and perfect for anyone with kids! The board walk from the community to the private beach access is a breeze to walk. It beats any walk we have ever had that wasn’t directly on beach. You can see the jetty from the balcony that over looks the pool! Condo was super nice, zero complaints! The lanai is amazing because it reduces having to bring any sandy items inside! Complimentary beach chair and umbrella was amazing to have. We got to the beach around noon each day, and there was always a front row spot with plenty of space. While we did have a condo pool, we utilized the infinity pool every single day after the beach. It’s so nice to shower the sand off and jump right in before you walk back to the magnolia. My young kids loved every second of the beach and pools. This definitely is our top favorite place we have stayed and we will for sure come back!! We did walk through the dunes to the inlet one morning instead of the board walk and that wasn’t a bad walk either!! Our condo was quiet, chill, and everything we needed inside. The beach wagon, boogie boards, foam cooler, and beach toys were all an added bonus! We didn’t have to buy the kids a thing to go to the beach with!! So thankful to have the extras! Sunsets on the back porch and watching the fireworks from there as well was also amazing! Lots of places within a five minute driving distance but tucked away to feel like your own private space!

I loved the spacious Lanai, that's where my kids and I kept our pool and beach toys and did our sunscreen each day. On our colder days we stayed in the condo and watched TV and played games and it felt like home. We walked everyday around the property and back and forth to the beach and it's a beautiful walk. We were so grateful that they pool was heated. The only things I wish would have been a little better was the tram service wasn't running as it was supposed to each day and the dishwash had a hard time closing.

We love Destin Florida. This is our second time coming in a row. I love the location of the condo and enjoy the firework show and the pool below but more important was the Gulf of Mexico it’s always beautiful all right compare with the condo strong work.

Reviewer Comments: Before we arrived Mon afternoon, 7/10/23, a text from Destin-Pointe Resort informed us that there were problems at the condo and an electrician was scheduled for the next morning. The central kitchen light switch needed replacing (an electrician replaced 7/11/23 11:00am) . Master bath exhaust fan was not working (broken no replacement fans available). Exhaust duct not to code and would need to be rerouted to the outside. Master bedroom closet door off track and sitting inside closet (never was fixed). Dishwasher door hinge bent down making door very hard to close (dishwasher need replacing).The coffee pot was dirty and stained, and clock/timer broken. We bought a new one for our use for the week.Kitchen sink perimeter under counter seal leaks water (be careful spraying in sink, water will be inside bottom cabinet).There were only 2 dinner knives in the utensil drawer. Really?The balcony sliding glass door and side panels had condensation between the glass panes (could not really look out outside clearly with opening the door). Needs replacing. The master bathroom shower tile had mildew in the grout lines on the walls (caused from no moisture exhaust). There was also soap scum present on both shower doors. The Cox TV cable remote was questionable. We brought our own Roku stick (highly recommended).There were no ceiling fans in the bedroom ceilings. Small oscillating fans were available. Overall, the unit was given a rating of 3 stars.
