2Bd, 2 Ba with Stunning Lake Conroe View

I booked this condo on March 14 after the other Vrbo I had booked was canceled due to plumbing problems. My trip was April 4-8 and this place canceled my reservation on April 3rd. There was no communication, I only received an email from Vrbo stating my reservation had been canceled. Initially, the host did not refund the entire amount and I had to contact Vrbo to intervene. This is following a few online messages that went unanswered as well as phone calls and texts. Vrbo was able to reach the host and was told the property had been double booked. If they had replied to my online message that was sent immediately following the reservation then perhaps they would have realized early on that they were double booked. I was traveling from out of state so I had no choice but to book anything available for the dates and that would also accommodate 5 of us which cost a lot more money. I had read another review where this had happened to them and thought it was probably just one of those things. I won't make that mistake again and hope that people think twice before doing business with this property manager.

Our booking was canceled by owner while we were on our flight to the property. It is day 9 since he stated they overbooked (but in the same sentence said they are letting current renter extend) I still don’t have a full refund and had to find and pay for another property, and i have had to call Vrbo every day to get resolution. Still waiting….

Very nice property. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable.
