Right on the beach, I relaxed on the balcony and listened to the calming sounds of the ocean. Sitting in the reserved chairs under the umbrella was perfect to enjoy the sun. The heated pool was clean and a perfect size for a few laps. Already planning for next year! It might be nice to include a throw; to cuddle up on the sofa.

Reviewer Comments: Very nice condo , steps from the beach, was not very busy this year it seemed , but could be due to everything costing so much these days... Property is well maintained. Have been coming to this location for years. Everything is close by, many places to eat and Walmart few blocks away.

Unit could have been cleaner upon arrival, new vacuum needed for floors. Stove could use replacement, coils don’t fit stove. Very much enjoyed our stay.

The location was filthy and not at all as expected when booking. The hotel offered us a refund, which was perfect. However, it was 4:45 pm on a Sunday. The first thought I had was to call Destin Realty, as we have stayed at one of their properties in the past, with hopes that 1. the office was open and would answer the phone and 2. they had something available for the week. The lady I spoke to was super helpful at a very stressful time. We were not able to book at the property that we were familiar with but she found a unit at a different location, which was just as good if not better. I wish I knew her name to recognize her but I did not. She transferred me to Ava, who works in the office at Destin Beach Club. She too was super helpful. I can not thank her enough as I am pretty sure this was not a common situation. She was scheduled to get off at 5:00 but was able to get the contract and everything put together for us so that it was all completed when we arrived. The unit was extremely nice. The décor, colors and furnishings were my style, all the way. I appreciated the quality of the drapes too, especially in the bedroom. The room darkening was a nice touch. The unit was well furnished and we could not have asked for more! Yes, I could live there :)Thank you Destin Realty and Ava for turning a bad experience into a very positive one.
