2023 Renovation - Villa318, An Ocean Front Beach Villa on North Topsail Beach

Great view. Great location. That was it. There is ZERO closet space. ZERO. There was no hand soap or toilet paper. The pillows were horrific. The cable constanty went in and out. All the TV remote batteries were dead. To top it all off, during a couple of moderate rain showers, water flooded under the balcony door and covered the floor. Rain water not sea water. We left a day early out of sheer disgust.

We loved the ocean view! Just a few short steps and we were on the beach. It is a great place to take your family.

It was a great place to stay

We loved the view from the balcony and how the area it is in is quiet without so much of the commercialization and crowds of Surf City, yet still close enough to get to easily. However, there is no beach at high tide, which I believe, the town is working on dredging to build it up. Also it should be mentioned that the coffee pot provided is a Keurig. They did provide some coffee, but they were not k-cups and you have to really smoosh it in there. I would have brought my reusable k-cup had I known, because we were not able to use the coffee we brought with us. The bath towels provided were very small and could not be wrapped around an adult body. Other than that, it is a very nice, clean and updated unit and we would go back once the beach is built up.

The property owner responded quickly to concerns and questions. The condo was very clean and exactly as shown in the pictures. The wifi however did not work which was a problem because of work related needs. The owner stated he would contact the HOA but nothing was ever corrected. In past reviews I saw this as an issue as well. If your looking for a beach to go along with your vacation this is not the place. The water literally comes up to the house when the tide is high. It was a great place and served our purpose when visiting our son in Camp Lejeune before deployment. It's also on the third floor if your someone who has issues with stairs. We did not and didn't mind the stairs at all.

We had a great time. The property is right on the beach and have amenities that we need. The view of the water is breathtaking and the wave is just perfect for my son. We are out on the beach entire day and walk on the beach at night. Perfect for a family get away.

I have stayed at this property many times. I absolutely love it. It feels like a home away from home. It's far enough away from everything but close enough to where you can go out and about if you so desire. Even when the weather is not so nice, having the balcony to be able to still enjoy the ocean view is wonderful.

The condo was clean, quiet, and overall as pictured. Check-in and check-out was seamless. Air conditioning (two window units) works well in the small space, a must for this area. Not described in any part of the listing - and in fact deliberately and cleverly hidden from pictures - was the fact that this condominium is probably years from falling victim to North Topsail's continuing erosion. But unlike all the other properties, the condominium itself is much closer to the ocean than any other property. The immediate view down from the balcony was not a sandy beach... it was piles of heavy sandbags fighting off this unfortunate phenomenon. This also means you can only access the beach from the condominium during absolute low tide. Most hours you need to walk up the street about a block for the public beach access. This absolutely did not ruin our trip, but I find it incredibly dishonest on part of the lister. I went back to the listing and you can just barely catch a hint of the sandbags in the corner of some shots. It would only be noticeable if you already know what to look for, which we did not when making our reservation. The listing's photos used common realtor tricks to conveniently hide this issue. Overall it was a nice stay. Just be advised that it is absolutely not beach front in the way you'd expect. Unless you like to swim.

This is a wonderful place for a quiet and relaxing getaway! The condo was clean and comfortable. Relaxing on an ocean front balcony was awesome as well! We will definitely be visiting this location again in the future!

Everything was great and place was nice!

Beach access was great. Had an issue with the bathroom, but the owner communicated with me quickly. Put a dent in our stay, but not too bad.

Had a great time on a solo visit to Topsail. Made many trips there . The property perfect ! Every convenience one needs and perfect view ! Will return!Communication above and beyond!

Good quiet place for couples. Great to sit on balcony and view the ocean. Good end to be on for walking or jogging with little traffic. Nice easy walk to the point, inlet area.

Clean and cozy place for a small family get away. Right on the beach. Great views. We were able to catch some wild dolphins in action as well.
