20 Steps 'till Toes in the Sand with Private Beach Access

What a great place to stay on the beach! It was perfect for my husband and me. Easy walk to the beach with chairs and then an outdoor shower to rinse off made for a convenient way to go back and forth all day. A welcoming treat and lots of detailed information about the area helped a great deal. Would definitely recommend! The bed was comfortable and the neighborhood offered good options for walking and biking.

Its a basement. When I got there I couldn't get in because the condo labeled number 5 wouldn't open with my code. I tried to contact owner but they didn't get back to me for 40 minutes then told me they were at the beach. By then I had already figured out I was in the basement. It's small, not really clean, cheap furnishings, water lines across ceiling. The only place you have to chill is the carport but the tenenant above gets to park in driveway so if you are sitting there and they pull up you have headlights blasting you. We had to park on the street, right in the front yard, where there is a fire pit an inch from where your car is. Luckily no one made a fire. There is a grill that is super dirty so you can't use. There is a hot tub that doesn't work, bikes that don't work. There is an outdoor shower that is an inch from the front door that everyone can use. So you have to keep your door and your blinds closed, there are beach chairs but they're mounted on the wall to this condo in the basement. So you don't have any privacy, constantly people in your space. If you want somewhere to crash, and you aren't going to stay in the condo and you want close access to the beach, ok. But it's overpriced for what you get. While many other places offer just as easy access with more accommodations. If you want a secluded or nice private getaway, this isn't a place for you, there is no privacy. You're stuck with a carport to sit in and the basement of a condo, very misleading.

The size of the studio was perfect for my needs. It was extremely clean and comfortable. Loved the thick towels. Appreciated the beach chairs. Only problem: it is more than 10 steps to the actual beach. It is10 steps to the path leading to the beach, but it was approximately 375 feet to the beach area. This piece of information should be given. When asked if I could park in the driveway I was told yes since there were no other guests coming until Friday. Very convenient. I appreciated the owner allowing me to do this. It was a very peaceful and uncrowded area of the beach.

Outside needs a little tlc. It was good stay ;very limited space but comfortable stay . The host has thought about everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. We had some problems and address them to Ann.The communication and promptness was A1

We loved our syay at Tybee Sunshine. It's far enough from the major beaches to keep you out of the crowds but close enough to walk to several excellent restaurants.

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at Tybee Sun! The space is lovely and the vibes are amazing! We couldnt have chosen a more perfect place to stay for a kid-free getaway. Ann is so awesome and has so many great recommendations. Sea Wolf, a restaurant just a short walk away, is fantastic!

We stayed to celebrate our anniversary and it was a great little place to visit Tybee Island for a couple days. Great host and super clean place! Thanks!

My husband and I loved staying here! Ann is a wonderful host and has thought of everything! She was very helpful with suggestions on things to do and where to eat and they were all spot on. She answered us immediately when we had questions! Our favorite part was the close, private access to the beach. Ann, thank you for everything and we will certainly be returning soon!

This place was exactly as described in the picture. It's very quiet. A very nice walk to the beach. It was a very short stroll through the dunes. Ann has been the best host! A thoughtful gift basket was a very sweet gift. She was very knowledgeable of you have any questions about Tybee, food suggestions, or anything like that. We really loved this place and we will be back.
