Stunning 1 Bedroom at one of the world's premier ski resorts. Perfectly situated at the base of Brighton Ski Resort this is a rare and awesome rental. We are less than 800 feet from Milly Express Ski lift. You also can ski back from Solitude Ski Resort.

The home is in beautiful condition and boasts gorgeous mountain views. The location of this home and amazing setting is unmatched. This suite was COMPLETELY renovated to over-impress and provide mountain comfort this 2021 season. There’s not another unit like it!



This ski in/ski out with Mountain views offers the best that this amazing resort has to offer. Spoil yourself! You won't regret it. There is a table top oven and counter top induction plate for boiling water and a microwave for cooking.

Only a minute walk to Milly ski lift and the Lodge.

There is no stove or oven, just a microwave for cooking in suite.



The Brighton Chalet is centered in the heart of Utah’s Brighton Ski Resort area where, at an elevation of 8,755 Feet, we have a higher base elevation than any other Utah ski area! And with an average snowfall of over 500 inches per year, it’s no wonder why we open our doors and ski runs first each season! We are located in Brighton, Utah, just 19 miles east of Salt Lake City at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon. During the summertime, Brighton is peaceful and serene, but not lacking adventurous activities! You can cast your fishing line into the nearby Silver Lake, which is constantly filled with trout. Not into fishing You can leisurely wander around the lake enjoying the beautiful views of nature on the environment-protecting boardwalk. These activities are an easy 5-minute walk from our chalets. For those in search of a more difficult hike, there are four beautiful mountain lakes that constantly draw the attention of the ambitious hiker. The popular Guardsman’s Pass mountain biking trails bring spectacular views and perfect terrain. Photographers have a heyday at Brighton because of the many amazing images to capture which include fields of the famous Brighton wildflowers. The views captivate tourists as well, who are making their way to Brighton Chalets. After exploring the area and taking advantage of the many activities, most days end with a relaxing evening BBQ.



Skiers and snowboarders enjoy an easy 1-minute walk to the Brighton Ski Resort lifts to experience the lighter-than-air snow! Positioned just across the street from Brighton Resort’s Milly Express, Our Brighton Chalets provide easy access to the mountain resort! Thanks to the over 500 inches of powder each winter, Brighton’s famous “Highest Base Elevation of 8,577 Ft.” is the best wintertime skiing in the area. No one gets more snow than we do! With the abundance of snow located right in our backyard, wintertime activities include skiing and snowboarding at Brighton Resort, cross-country skiing at Solitude’s Nordic Center, and snowmobiling over Guardsman’s Pass, to mention the more vigorous activities. Everyone, even the seasoned locals, is awestruck by the pristine beauty of Brighton’s winter wonderland, the epitome of the “Greatest Snow on Earth.”



All of our units include access to a hot tub, free high-speed Internet, fireplaces, and plenty of jetted tubs! We are located across the street from the Brighton Resort’s Milly Express lift and the LDS Church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints).



Important note: The Town of Brighton and Big Cottonwood Canyon are extremely important “protected watershed areas” supplying high quality and high quantity drinking water to the thirsty Salt Lake Valley and thus dogs and pets are not allowed in these locations. This home is not pet friendly and we do not allow pets. The County will assess $500 fines if you are caught in the canyon with a dog.

A GuestBook is provided in each Suite with relevant information, manuals, and resort policies included. We encourage you to read the guest book for an enjoyable vacation. During your stay we also request that you respect the property and keep it in good condition. Each suite features a full set of appliances and laundry machinery. These are provided for your convenience; we ask that they be treated properly to keep the Suite in premium condition. Please also regularly discard trash in the provided dumpsters and do not leave it behind in the suite. We offer a one-time cleaning prior to your arrival; additional maid service is available upon request and for a fee.







Departure:



At the time of departure, checking-out is as simple as checking-in: simply pack all of your belongings and tidy up. When you're ready to depart, just exit the Suite and lock the door. Your check-out is complete.







Check-In/Check-Out Times:

Please note that Check-In is at 4:00PM. Check-Out is at 10:00AM. These times are enforced and any changes require prior approval. If you are still in your suite after 10:30AM, you may be charged for an additional day as it prevents our housekeeping staff from preparing the room for the next guest's arrival. Please call at, at minimum, the day-before to inquire about Late-Checkouts. Requests are honored based on availability.

    Instructions were great and the condo was good. The short walk to the slopes Every day was nice. Hot tub was a great Retreat after a hard day of skiing. Convenience to stores and restaurants was not very good as the main restaurant in Brighton didn't let anyone in under 21 and our daughter was only 20.

    -House is not ski-in to Solitude (at time of this writing, the summary still reads that it is)-The assigned parking spot is not accessible to the EV charger (although after a message they said I could park there to charge)-The grill did not have propane (despite a private message telling me it did)-There was a code provided for the main front door, ski locker and hot-tub locks. Despite several messages, I was not given a code to induvial unit (though they were quick to provide when I text them)-Not a con, but the unit was not rented before we got there and I asked for early check-in, but was denied. -Otherwise, house is as described. Clean, and very comfortable-Close enough to Brighton where I let 2 not quite teenagers walks to the resort.-Hot tub was clean and hot-100% would stay again, they need to improve the description of the unit.

    We visited Brighton Feb of 2024 and loved except for the commute from Salt Lake. This year we stayed here and it was worth every penny! Got to sleep in a little and still be first on the lift!

    My husband and I booked this chalet for us and our two sons, ages 19 and 21. You can't beat the location, being right next to the Brighton Ski resort. The chalet was perfect for our stay. We had 2 issues: the first is that I had confirmed twice before we arrived that there would be sheets, pillows and blankets for the pullout sofa bed for our sons. I was assured that all would be provided. Upon arrival after a LONG travel day (being up since 4am), we arrived to find no sheets or pillowcases for the pullout. This was a bit disappointing. The other issue is that halfway through our stay, other guests checked into the unit above us. The noise from them above was extreme, late into the evening and beginning at 6am. I finally had to go over and ask them to keep it down. They were apologetic, said they had like 8 kids up there and didn't know anyone else was there, which I find hard to believe when our vehicle was parked there when they checked in. At any rate, I realize that this is a risk you take when you rent a unit on the first floor but just beware if you rent this unit that you will be dealing with noise from those above. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay and we would stay there again - but in the upstairs unit!!

    All I had to do was step out the door and I was on an amazing hike everyday! Then I would come back to a comfy, clean place. Had everything I needed, didn’t want to leave?

    We liked this 1 bedroom unit last year so much that we booked it again this season. The size is great for 2 people although you could have 1-2 people seep on the sofa. It's very comfortable. Nice gas fireplace. The kitchen is unconventional but you can easily cook all your meals there. The unit is very thoughtfully appointed. We love the artwork. We have a couple of comments for improvements. Think of moving the TV from the bedroom to the kitchen. (Guys like to watch basketball while he eating. Would keep the food in the kitchen. Thank you trying to fix the hot tub. It appears to need more work on the electrical system. It was nice when we couture it. The walk to Milly's lift is easy and the location can't be beat.
