Stayed Apr 9, 2026Very clean and an awesome location. Dedicated parking spot was great. Is much darker than the pictures. There’s just not a ton of natural light throughout. That wasn’t really a problem. The problem we had was that the sheets and towels had been washed with incredibly strong scented detergent. Kids had a skin reaction and I had really unpleasant allergic reaction. We had to wash everything twice with baking soda and free and clear before the smell was less noticeable. But never really went away. Just got better. It was caterpillar season too and there were literally thousands of them outside, and sometimes inside. Not their fault so it is what it is. We would probably stay again for the location alone, you can’t beat the beach here. Bring water shoes though because this side of the beach is probably 50’ of crushed shells which were very sharp. One kid cut their foot but it is what it is. That’s the beach.

Stayed Dec 4, 2025The condo was perfect for our stay to participate in Breakthrough T1D’s 2025 Amelia Island Ride to Cure. Spacious and well-appointed, 1164 was a convenient location relative to all of our cycling activities for the weekend. We would definitely recommend this rental to others and certainly would consider returning for future stays.
