106- Beautiful GULF FRONT condo. Destin Beach Club

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect stay in a great area located right on the beach. Limited beach traffic made it great for kids to play all day and run back and forth from the condo to the beach.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 4th time staying at Beach Club of Destin and previously been satisfied with the accommodations. Sadly though, this will be our last stay here. The general cleanliness was lacking. We had to ask to be moved to another room as the first one (106) was completely unacceptable in that the refrigerator door made a terrible popping sound when opened, the whole place had a stale scent, one of the toilets had a malfunctioning handle and in general the furnishings are worn out and not well maintained. They did agree to move us to 307, which was slightly better but caused us to lose a day and still not nearly good enough to justify the fee charged.

Been here many years and always stay on the 1st floor... it can’t be beat! 106 was clean, comfortable, and nicely updated. Only thing we found wrong was we couldn’t figure out how to get the light over the table to come on and one of the burners on the stove did not work. Neither of those things impacted our stay negatively and could have been user error lol. Will be back next year for sure!!

They really needed to provide extra blankets and, of course, the pull out couch mattress was horrid. One of the stove eyes had baked on food under it and when we turned the dishwasher on, it smoked. But none of these things interfered with us having the best time ever. It’s literally steps to the beach, there are no stairs to deal with and it’s a million dollar view! The staff is always so friendly and very helpful. This is our sixth time visiting Destin Beach Club and we will return next year.

I loved that it wasn't packed, very family friendly, very quiet and peaceful! Beach was a super short walk and staff were very helpful and friendly. If your thinking of booking this place, don't hesitate. It's worth every penny!

Walk out and see fireworks up and down the beach.. near and far. We always stay on the ground level which is perfect for our family. The view is worth everything. We have recommended the condo to friends because we love the set up with bunk beds for kids and the kitchen is great for the meals that you want to eat in. Our unit was updated and super clean. The only tiny issue was they were a little short on kitchen items but we made it work.Another absolutely perfect stay and we can’t to come back hopefully this fall. Two years ago we went for Thanksgiving and the weather was devine!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been coming to the Destin Beach Club for many years. Overall it was a wonderful trip. The staff are nice and helpful. The condos indoors are showing a lack of maintenance care, like holes in walls patched badly, screws missing from lightswitch plates all over, poorly hung doors, etc. The pots and pans, dishes, etc in the condo were truly ready to be thrown away. They are terrible - scratched and peeling Teflon. We could barely cook on the stovetop because all of the burners were installed wrong and the pots and pans tipped over precariously because they were not level. The oven never did get up to temperature to cook garlic bread. It took 45 minutes to make some toast. The cabinets had 7 dinner plates, 7 forks, 7 spoons...you get the picture. We think someone needs to be in charge of all oversight who cares because this isn't really acceptable for the quality we expect... We know these are individually-owned condos, but some uniformity is expected. It was February so still very cold at night, and our condo only had 1 blanket for 3 guests' beds. Make sure the condo is fully stocked for the maximum occupancy of guests (which is 6).The swimming pool and area, and the hot tub are very nice and well-maintained. It's a gorgeous property, small, and family oriented. The location is very central and you can easily walk to other hotels and restaurants. There are tons of places nearby, like go-karts, putt-putt golf, nail spas, grocery stores, gas stations, Walmart, etc. The beach is private, so even though the location is central in busy Destin, you can find peace and quiet at the Club. The beach and boardwalk are kept very clean and nice, as well as the landscaping.Overall, we love coming here and of course we will be back! It is so much better than those high-rise buildings with a thousand people and nightmare parking. Thank you for having us!
