Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been coming to DBC since 1998. (We’ve only missed one year.) We bring friends regularly and feel that the people who manage, maintain and greet you are genuinely caring, serious about their work and are the reason we return. My remarks on this review are for the owners of unit 105. Please consider updating! We’ve never seen a unit as run down as yours. We couldn’t open the dresser drawers because of missing knobs. We had to borrow a large skillet for breakfast each morning because you didn’t supply one. The mattresses caused back pain for three of the four members of our family. The paint on the trim and doors (especially the master bath) is missing. We tried to use the extra fan, and it wouldn’t turn on. The screen on the back sliding door is ripped and obstructs the beautiful view. This property is too valuable to ignore it as you have. We did, however, appreciate the large round table on the patio! We were able to eat, as a family, outside and do school work there. Compared to most of the other units, we would prefer to stay in other more updated and cared for condos.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is in a great location. However, the unit we stayed in was really dark and the furniture had stains. The walls and doors were scratched and needed painting. The refrigerator had a leak. I just felt like it was generally unclean. I don’t know that we would go back there but I certainly would not stay in that unit again.

Our unit came with chairs & umbrellas was clean, comfortable, and stylishly decorated. Beach access could not have been better and I loved having 2 rinse off stations- one at each end of the short board walk. Family friendly, kind staff. Two above and beyond examples: 1) calling to let us know our room was ready for early check in if we wanted 2) on the way home getting a call because they thought we had left a makeup bag behind and offered to mail to to us (it wasn’t ours but appreciated the gesture to reach out!!)

I booked last minute this year and didn’t have room options other than room 105 as we like to be on the bottom floor. The pots and dishes had food cakes on them (never had a problem before) front seat took pictures and took care of the situation. The sofa and chair in room 105 was absolutely disgusting. My son had to sleep on the pull out sofa and the mattress was so thin that you can feel the springs. He is too tall for bunk beds. We had to take the mattress off one of the bunk beds and put it on top of the sofa bed mattress. The bunk bed mattresses are also very thin compared to other units we have stayed in. King bed was also very lumpy. I think it’s time to update the room. I will never stay in 105 again. The view is beautiful and the beach that’s why we keep coming back but will stay in an updated room and book earlier.

It's the perfect location. You from our back patio amazing. It's clean. Has washer ,dryer, kitchen, patio furniture, pool, and the Gulf of Mexico. I mean what more can you ask for. This is definitely or go to for a family vacation in Destin. So do I?
