The Chalet on Beautiful Lake Charlevoix w/ Docking

A gorgeous house with incredible views. Check-in and check-out process was smooth and straightforward. The owner communicated well and ensured we were set up to have a great weekend. Highly recommended!

The house was incredible! It had an abundance of utensils and kitchen tools, making our trip even more enjoyable. Bolt rental was conveniently located right down the street, just a short walk away. The lake was breathtaking, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Overall, I highly recommend this place. The host was incredibly friendly and promptly answered all our questions.

Outstanding

We had a group 8 and enjoyed our stay here! Loved being able to swim right off property. House well appointed! Enjoyed kayaking and fire pit! Yard a bit small but still could fit 2 sets of cornhole boards! On a very busy road! Convenient boat rental only 1/4 mile from the house (which Also provides river kayak tours which we did not go on). Loved the large deck off house with ample seating for a larger group!

Property has a wonderful deck with beautiful lake views and easy boat access. The space was good for 2 families.

We are VRBO frequenters and this house was by far the best home away from home we've stayed in. The kitchen was fully stocked and the pantry had all the basics. The house was super clean and the master suite is essentially separate from the rest of the house, which was ideal for us since our teenagers stay up later and we didn't hear them. Overall the location was perfect, right on the water with a big deck and comfortable outdoor furniture to enjoy the cool breeze and everything else Lake Charlevoix has to offer. We have a place on Norris Lake in Tennessee and were amazed at how quiet & peaceful the South Arm is compared to other lakes. We kayaked most days and saw only a few boats. Last year we stayed on Walloon Lake but we will definitely be back to the South Arm because it's so close to Charlevoix and Lake Michigan. The only concerns with this house would be for those with small children (under 4 yrs old). The spiral staircase leading to the loft would concern me and the front yard/driveway is small and therefore close to the road. Otherwise, it was really a perfect place and location for us.

fabulous place to vacation. This home has plenty of sleep space, very comfortable and right on the lake. We had a great long weekend at this lovely home. The deck is huge and the owners are very nice and responsive. The only negative is its pretty close to the road but still give it 5 stars. We'll be back - thanks for being a great host Julie
