This natural setting is nested less than a mile from the city with quick access to downtown Chattanooga, Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain, and the surrounding area.

Our custom-designed Chalet combines imagination, modernity, and a woodsy rustic feel that organically compliments the natural setting.

The Chalet is reached via Trammell Lane, where you'll find two private parking spaces.

On the ground level you'll find your lower deck with a private hot tub. Upstairs, the great room features an open floor plan with vaulted all-wood ceilings and dynamic lighting. The space included a full-service kitchen, dining area, sofas, and a Smart TV. The main bedroom with direct access to the bathroom is just off the great room.

A spiral staircase leads up to the unique lookout loft furnished with bunk beds, a striking surround of high windows, and a crown vaulted ceiling.

The cubby nook features a double bed and Smart TV. Please note the nook has a low ceiling and might be too cramped for an adult to sleep, but the space is perfect for kids.

The main deck wraps around the entire home, offering views over the pool, forest, and river. The large back deck features an outdoor dining area with seating for six and deep seating for relaxing.

The Chalet is in a compound with two other homes, the May Family Home and the Blue House. The homes share a stunning, heated resort-style pool with an expansive flagstone patio. On the patio, you'll find lounge seating, an outdoor fireplace, and an outdoor kitchen with a covered dining pavilion (guests must provide their own, firewood, charcoal and propane.)

The pool is closed during winter, typically from October to March.

The ground floor of the Chalet serves as the poolhouse for all three properties. Guests have access to a shared washer and dryer, a workout room, poolside showers, and toilets.

Chattanooga is a city known for its railroads. There are active train tracks that border the property to the north and I-24 is about half a mile away. Please note that light sleepers may be affected by the ambient city and train noise. Each cabin has been equipped with a white noise machine to help minimize any disturbance.

Pack' n Play Travel cribs are available upon request.

To make sure your stay at Skyuka Chalet is perfect, our locally based Guest Services representatives are on-call from 8 am to 11 pm, seven days a week.

The stay was frustrating from start to finish. Parking was unclear and led to repeated calls and texts the first night. The interior lock was broken, leaving the unit unsecured. A man claiming to be from management showed up unannounced, behaved unprofessionally, and appeared to be under the influence. The listing claimed to sleep six, but I was charged extra for more than four guests—this wasn’t disclosed up front. The upstairs A/C didn’t work, forcing some guests to leave early, and the A/C unit in the primary bedroom couldn’t keep the room cool. The kitchen lacked basics—there was no ice maker or even ice trays in the freezer—and there were no working batteries in any of the six remotes needed to operate the main TV. The listing also included religious materials that some guests found offensive. The pool, advertised as private, turned out to be shared. Overall, poor communication, safety concerns, and misleading details made this a stay I can’t recommend.

Our family was heading home from VA to Texas and we wanted to stop off to explore Ruby Falls and the war museum. We booked very last minute with zero issues. Publix was close for groceries. We loved having a cozy place to sleep after all our exploring!! Relaxing in the hot tub was a bonus! We cooked dinner and breakfast, they had everything we needed to cook! Look forward to coming back in the summer to use the outdoor facilities like the pool and roast marshmallows in the fire-pit! We will stay longer for our next visit! Thanks for a lovely stay! Everything was perfect! I took my daughter and a couple of her friends for her 16th bday. If you follow the directions they give to you going into the cabin it will lead you right to it. One night really isn’t enough for such a nice place!

The parking and drive to the correct parking is a bit crazy. The entire bottom of the chalet is a public part of the building to the community and not nicely kept. There was toilet paper all over and the toilets were gross. It is a very tight property. The chalet is extremely close to a very active very loud train tracks. It didn’t bother our group but it was a bit of a shock as to just how close it is and loud it is. The actual chalet was nicely decorated and the bunk platform bed is nicely made. However the other full size bed is in an unventilated closet with no airflow. The fans for the loft are heavily caked in dust. The living space is very tight and it just overall was not what I was expecting. The pool was overrun by big fire ants and the pool lining was ripped and pulling up on the bottom. The hot tub was very nicely kept and private. We enjoyed this. The property manager was kind and very responsive and quick to let us know we did not park in the right area. There’s some nice easy trails you can walk and we enjoyed the views. I overall liked the area but wouldn’t probably rent this chalet again for the expensive price to have such a small space.

It’s our second year and TR. We loved the tiny cabins so much last year that we came back to stay in the Chalet near the pool this year. The property was clean, so cleverly arranged and decorated. My daughter and her three friends loved the pool, the loft and the hidden bedroom. The bathroom is massive as well. Very nice chalet!

Very peaceful place right out of town within 10-15 minutes to the majority of the local attractions. The property is next to busy train tracks, but I didn’t notice them to much with a window unit running in our bedroom. The property is super nice with good roads leading into it. This particular property does involve stairs up to the second level that you have to tote your luggage up and down. Walmart delivery will deliver groceries to there if you subscribe to that service. The bed was worn out but it didn’t bother my back too much.

The Skyuka Chalet was in a great location. To park at the Chalet you need to drive down/up some steep hills, but it was doable. The host responded quickly to any messages and was friendly. The listing does mention to expect bugs, but we were expecting the occasional bug, we were not expecting so many. Upon arrival there were a lot of dead/alive stink bugs in window sills and on the floor/wall. We wished the dead stink bugs would have been vacuumed up before arrival. During our stay we also found a stink bug in my pillowcase and killed two roaches in the kitchen/dining room area. Trains do run frequently, but they did not bother our group. There is one bedroom, a loft area with a bunk bed (full bed on top, twin bed on bottom), and in the loft area there is a small door where the last bed is located in the wall.

Cute accommodations for a quick overnight girls trip. Ultra tiny bedroom (literally inside the wall) was a surprise, but a hit! Location is so incredibly close to town!
