Stayed Dec 31, 1969The peaceful setting. The hosts friendly manner. The log burner and we could help ourselves to the wood we needed. Consistently hot water. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely welcome cream tea. Great bed, nice mattress. A small table and chairs outside would’ve been great. The small area where there was a bench was a bit overgrown. The kitchen rug was a trip hazard. Shaving light in the bathroom didn’t work. The absence of a coat hooks in the hallway. No where to dry bath towels. Bathroom was always damp after showering, unless we left the front door and bathroom doors open. Not sure whether the fan is working as effectively as it should.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The grounds were stunning and the host was very helpful and friendly. We were greeted with a cold bottle of wine and a personal note from the host which was so lovely after a long journey!
